Gosh I’ve been wanting this camera for weeks now. In every video of it that I watch I can see it’s lots of fun to use, besides of being super convenient and quick. I miss the times when we had a dedicated camera for video and memories only

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

I’ve had this very model since 2016 and it’s way better than any smartphone soundwise and zoomwise. Still footage gives old school vibes as hell lol. Maybe cuz we got used to phone cameras 😂

Try the new Minolta MN 4K 300 WP waterproof HD camera. Goes down to 16ft in water shoots HD 55 fps under $200. Amazing camera.

Didnt really touch the clips at all. Just arranged them. The file sizes are all pretty small which is nice.

Great camera I gonna buy one in the summer to do some carspotting . Quick question does this camcorder upload videos from the camcorder to your phone or not ? . I'm gonna buy a Canon EOS Rebel T100 DSLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm with it together .

There is a micro sd card and a regular usb cable, so if you want footage on your phone you would need to put it on a computer first. Unless you have some sort of adapter perhaps.

are you recorded with all auto settings? and what your output setting for the video?

Everything was auto. The first few shots I used the retro picture profile and the rest was on standard.

How does it compare to your iPhone? I’m planning to get it as a B cam not sure if it’s a good idea.

All of my previous videos were shot on my iphone. I think the key differences are that the iphone picture is a bit clearer, but the sony has better zoom. I honestly wanted a camcorder for the early 2000s nostalgia effect.

There is a picture profile called retro, but for most of the shots I just had it in standard.

Take the sd card out and plug it into your computer. I had to buy an adapter since my laptop didn’t have a micro sd port.

My iphone can shoot 4k 60fps so I would say its better resolution, but the camcorder has better zoom, and more of a nostalgic feel, which I like.

Depending on the style you are going for, I think you could definitely use it. You might be limited in some ways for example low light shooting, or depth of field.

The design flaws with Sony CX405 are:1) there is no way to have the date and time displayed on your video. Date and Time are critical for documenting home movie moments. And 2) the memory cards create a separate file for each "shot". But (LOL) as a tech at Best Buy told me, "you can buy the software to splice all the separate files together". Truly one of the stupidest comments I've ever heard. This camera is not worth the headache. Go old school and use tape.
