A viewer on this Channel asked me about this this Question - "what is the minimal voltage for the start could provide those controllers in half wave and high resistant mode for start?" & it took me a few day & help from the Hornby Forum to answer it!!!

Thank you very much Jimy, Now I see that Duette with full resistans mode could provide 0.3 v. But your locomotives start to move from 1 v. That is great reserve, similar to Gaugemaster. It could handle HAG locomotives with 3 pole motor which could work from 0.6-0.8 v. Very good indeed.
