In a previous video we installed a pipe jack into a Kodiak 6 Person Deluxe tent, installed the Winnerwell Nomad Large Camp Stove, lit a fire, and tested it all out in my backyard. All worked well. In this video, we put the stove and tent to the test while camping and exploring Anasazi Petroglyphs. A little info on each:
Anasazi Petroglyphs are thought to be between 700 and 2000 years old. They are prevalent throughout the Southwest. We do not know the precise meaning, but they definitely communicated something. These particular Petroglyphs are in Snow Canyon, Utah, located near the South Western border of Utah, where there are numerous Petroglyphs.
This stove is the Winnerwell Nomad Large Camp Stove. Please see my previous video where I go into detail about this stove. Also, please see my previous video about installing a stove pipe jack.
The tent is the Kodiak Deluxe 6 person canvas tent. I have used this tent numerous times and absolutely love it. Can't say enough good about it.
We hope you enjoy this little adventure Shadow and I took to explore the near Petroglyphs and put the Winnerwell Nomad Large Camp stove and Kodiak Deluxe 6 person canvas tent to the test and give them both a review.

Thanks for watching and commenting! I’ve always wanted to visit South Africa. I have been to Egypt, but that’s kinda not really “Africa.” I’ve also been to Ghana on a mission trip. Great experience and loved the people. But I REALLY want to visit South Africa some day. Thanks again!

Thanks Morgan! I have a lot of fun making these videos. In all honesty, I research and talk to people to learn where to find petroglyphs and pictographs. It is amazing how many there are! Thanks for watching and commenting. Really appreciate it!

Thank you for watching and commenting. Japan is a beautiful country in so many ways. When I lived there, I loved to watch the countryside from the window of a train. The mountains, the rice paddies, the temples and shrines, are all so beautiful.

What size stove is that you have? Do you recommend any particular size for this tent? And roughly how many hrs do you think it stayed warm without adding more wood? I’m thinking of putting one in my 10x10 Kodiak also! Thanks a bunch for the video.

I have the large size. I am glad I bought the large size as it accommodates larger logs that burn longer. It puts out a LOT of heat, so you could certainly go with a smaller size for a 10 x 10 Kodiak tent. But you will have to cut smaller logs and add wood more frequently. Regarding frequency, that depends on the wood you burned. Hard woods like oak burns a long time. With proper use of the dampers, I’ve had logs burn for 2-3 hours before needing to add more wood. But soft woods like pine burn fast and only last perhaps 45 minutes to an hour. I hope this helps. Happy to answer any other questions you may have.
