So using dishsoap does work on shoes but its not recommended, especially for the soles and midsoles. Dishsoap is a grease remover so it makes the uppers crunchy and hard.

It worked like a charm... my coach shoes went from rag to crispy white (yes those aren’t “sneaker head” shoes per say but I’m more into “high end” cuz I also buy Burberry.. but slowly getting into Js. Bought my first pair a week ago actually and proud) all in all, I was just starting to like Harrison as I got introduced to this scene. Loved his content. To clean my mesh shoes like Nike TNs when I was a kid I would use carpet cleaner foam and then a tooth brush, how it works as you spray the carpet cleaner foam on the shoe and leave it for the preferred amount of time then scrub them with a tough bristle tooth brush and they would come up almost as good as new
