Thank you for all the information! I just checked my hormones, but my doctor says there is no need to check testosterone, because there is not much to do she said. She recommended pellets in case I wanted more testosterone!!!!

Thanks for this video. Do you have any comment about intolerance to both testosterone and DHEA due to cystic acne? I have tried both only briefly in the past, and even at 77 still on HRT, I still get a worsening of painful acne cysts when testosterone is added, even though lab levels are often low or non-existant.

I love T cream as it’s helped with energy , strength but hasn’t really done anything for libido and prior to perimenopause I had no issue in that department 😢 HRT has helped with tons of symptoms, but libido still challenging and weight gain even being on testosterone, estrogen patch and progesterone capsules. Does Femmenessence support libido? I’ve tried other maca and it didn’t really do anything. Appreciate your videos and support of women ❤👍

I'm 64 and have Hashimoto Hypothyroidism; Went to my OB/GYN for my annual pap smear two weeks ago and he said he couldn't even get a pap smear because I had vaginal atrophy. He gave me an rx for Estradiol cream. Two years ago, he prescribed Premarin, and I was scared to use it. I haven't had sex with my husband (I am embarrassed to say, at least 2 years. It's too painful and I just gave up. Why am I so nervous to take the dam cream?!?!?!?!

If a woman is already experiencing female pattern baldness and occasional facial hair (one cheek and under chin) during peri and now postmeno, would starting T be counterproductive (Estadriol/Prog didn't decrease these "symptoms")? Should she get DHT tested?

No dtr. addresses it, it must have some hormonal aspect bc it comes a week before a period. This is bad, it’s horrible for anyone in a relationship with that person. Hello from North Carolina!! What are your thoughts on taking dihydroberine while doing TRT? I'm 49, menopause for almost 4 years now and definitely low testosterone. My latest bloodwork showed that my total T was 7 and my free T was .7. I have read that berberine can increase SHBG and lower freeT. I got talked into Testosterone pellet implant years ago and I HATED IT so much. Made me feel very weid.

Recently started on testosterone gel, just a finger tip amount per day, as suffering with muscle loss, but i am feeling so much better in terms of energy and slowly building muscle. I think i was always low in testosterone, my whole life! Would you recommend for muscle loss? . I am doing a daily weights programme too. 2 years ago all hormones were super low, so I'm on DHEA (if i forget to take it my tolarence level drops significantly) and all hormones now, and all going well, finally. Get my Dexa scan results on Monday. I'm only 59 , but already 10 years menopausal!! I will look for the book on Amazon for sure, but not sure if i can get it here in Europe. So any ideas for muscle loss (apart from doing weights, as I'm already doing this). Cheers

Had radical hysterectomy in 2005 been doing just about every hormone therapy out there since then. I did pellets for about a year...not anymore..too expensive and think it had something to do with my hair loss. Problem many dr's don't take insurance anymore and if they do insurance won't cover the hormones. Got some testosterone shots that cost $150 which I didn't have and husband gives me shot every week but it is small amount and this will only last 3 months. I also take 2 estradiol tablets and 2 progesterone at night. I have absolutely no energy or motivation. This isn't working. I am about to crawl in a hole and give up.

I tried pills, patches and gels nothing worked. I started Depoestriol injections, 1/2 CC every month. The doctor approved my injectable hormone therapy because he said my body doesn't absorb estrogen. Should I reconsider and try something else? You need to stop lumping injections in with pellets. Injections can be micro dosed biweekly at home and are a great delivery method. I self inject t cyp and e cyp no one is profiting off me doing my own injections. Pellets are awful but injections are great.

So I am 64. Not in a sexual relationship and generally ready for bed by 7 pm. Ive lost my mojo. I had a total hysterectomy at about age 50. When i did, my adrenal glands and thyroid quit. I was on steroids for approximately 8 years then weaned off of them. I am still hypothyroid. I was on an estriadol patch until my endocrinologist said i was past all the symptoms of menopause then she stopped prescibing it. Im also concerned about my sex drive. I take estrogen, progesterone & testosterone via compounded vaginal tablet (like a pill). I’ve found it’s almost unheard of method as there’s NOBODY that has mentioned this method in ALL my hours/years of research. In addition I added an estrogen cream because I was not absorbing enough vaginally & had night hot flashes. Have you ever used or heard of this method? It’s been great for me for a few years but it’s almost unheard of method.
