Question: Why isn’t my uterine lining shedding on bio topical estrogen and topical progesterone, 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off progesterone? Thanks

In regards to hormones and HRT, what if any effect do you think project 2025 will have? They say they are going after " gender-affirming care", but if HRT for women is also gender-affirming, it seems to me they might have that in their sights as well.

I just buy vaginal cream with estriol at a local pharmacy and mix a small amount with my usual face cream. No drastic effect so far but it doesn't cost a lot and maybe it's helping. So I'm happy with it 😁

Please ask Dr. Youn about growth factor serums too! Do they work and is it necessary for mature skin? I've heard to sandwich tretinoin with growth factors for better results. Thank you!!

Something related to segual desire that men cannot experientially understand is what I can only think to call ‘pvxxy management’. Every day of every month women have to manage what’s happening ‘down there’ which is a reflection of the fluctuations of our hormonal cycles. Something is always about to come out of it, wrong with it, or wants into it. Then there’s literally everything in society that seems to want to talk about or manage access to our pvxxies. Menopause doesn’t give us the break that we deserve . It can be exhausting on a level that we don’t even recognize. So, men please understand that we might need a break from thinking about our pvxxies for a spell !

I find it comical & ignorant that over the years they have tried to market a 'female viagra' when 'regular' viagra might work just as well. Just dye it pink! 😂. I mean the mechanism is the same whether M or F. When I have used it, I found that my sensitive parts are more sensitive, probably due to increased blood flow. I have also tested it on my altitude hikes & I found it helpful. One man I know confessed to using Cialis, because it's longer lasting, as he can spend several days at altitude. I am also on BioHRT since a hysterectomy in 2009, with compounded E & T creams, & P capsule for 2 weeks/month. I love my T! Don't ever take it away from me! I have a wonderful Dr. who works with me, listens to me, if I give a good argument for something she will prescribe it. I'm not afraid of trying things to see what it does - can you say' biohacker'? It's a process. Probably took me several years to get the dosing right.... As for the attraction/desire front....What is it about when men turn 60 they want to grow the long gray ponytail, the zztop beard & generally look like a homeless guy??? Not attractive OK??? As a single, older F, I'm telling you, you need to clean it up! You might get more attention 😉... Dr. T I don't know how you popped up on my YT feed but I'm glad you did. You speak my language 👍...

Get your vaginal estradiol cream from a compounding pharmacy . Prescription crabs are full of ingredients used to make antifreeze ! Compounding it they’ll use safer bases . Read the Label of the big box pharmacy’s creams ., scary !

So the pink pill is essentially an antidepressant? Re testosterone, there's such an issue in the UK because doctors like Dr Louise Newson are educating women on their own hormones, and the medical establishment have a big problem with this. (See the two articles in The Guardian from last week.) No products for us here either, male gels only, which we have to titrate down. There's supposed to be a T patch for women soon, but we'll see. When you reach menopause, you suddenly realise that misogyny and paternalism are very much alive and kicking in medicine, whether the doctor is male or female. The fact that our low libido is labelled a psychiatric disorder, oh my goodness, and female doctors are ok with this? And the WHI ghost never seems to stop scaring them 👻 Anyway, thank you so much for explaining about the pink pill 😊I don't know of anyone who's taking it yet. Will be interesting to hear more. 😊xx

Dr. Tassone, thank you SO much for this! It is despicable how women are blamed and discounted in countless ways within the medical community. I have shared your name with multiple Facebook menopause groups (the ones I belong to are “Surgical Menopause” groups, as that is my situation); I profess that you are someone women need to listen to and turn to for education, advice and treatment. Let us all know when you are licensed in North Carolina - I’ll be one of your first telehealth patients!
@cm19063 күн бұрын
Dr Tassone - how does testosterone prescribing work with your telehealth patients? Do patients provide you with a compounding pharmacy in their area or do you prescribe products that are licensed for men and tell the patient how to use it (reducing the daily dose)? We also hear that it is not possible/legal for doctors to prescribe testosterone for women via telehealth. I’d like to get some clarity on all this before making an appointment with you. I’d appreciate your answer.
