My original was stolen when my truck was stolen, so I just ordered the XL. I loved the original, so I am super excited to get the XL I was pleasantly surprised last year. I love Tethrd!

I received my Tethrd Predator XL platform today and I love it already. I wish the strap was about two feet longer, but it is an awesome stand. I am certain it will be every bit as good as I hoped it would be.

New platform seems to make more sense esp moving from hangon stand. Weight? Cost? How long to ship?

For me I like the fit finish and larger size of the trophy line mission platform better. It also seems to wiggle less when you move on it.

Wow, the corners of the XL withstand some serious break forces. Impressive engineering! I wonder if they will be adding the extra top texture and edge texture to the regular predator? That is a nice improvement. Good luck next weekend.

I just got the trophy line mission platform. It is really nice it is rock solid no flex at all. Lots of room. You need to try it!

Have you did a review on the Mission platform yet?

If you guys haven't tried a can over strap with it you need to! It's a game changer! I hunt a lot of pines in Florida and that can over buckel really locks it down nicely and it's quiet. I also add a squirrel step to the left and right so I can really get around the tree!

If the "versa button" was raised more you wouldn't have to cam it over multiple times nor step on the post. It locks in (both the original Predator and XL) a lot tighter just by raising a strap an inch or so above the molded "button".

I have read on Saddle hunting on FB that the new/black is an improvement from original..it is less time and effort just to ship with new bracket..instead of taking off the old and bolting on the new 👍

Kinda wish they had updated the casting on the Predator to give it the grip features. I want the smaller one but with the grip.

Which platform do you like the best? Cruizr better than the tethered stuff?

Got mine today. Got it on a tree and was pleased with its performance, however as I was preparing for paint I noticed the front left corner was bent. Have you noticed this on your platform? Or did I get a bad one?

When I received my original predator a couple weeks ago, I called and asked them why they send 2 brackets and they said awhile back they ordered like 5000 too many of the new black brackets, so now they just throw one in as another option if you want it.

What are you using as a buckle cover on the strap? Great review!

The black one is more grippier, and they now include them with every purchase after 1/1/2020. A free $16 upgrade.

Got the mission platform, buddy got the predator xl. Cancelled my order for 2 predator xl platforms after waiting for over a month, Got the mission 3 days after I ordered it, buddy waited 6 weeks to get his predator. Did side by side test, and had a few friends along for the test, and all of us agreed the mission wins hands down. On a side note Tethrd customer service was horrible, vague answers on when they will be shipping products, nobody answering phone number provided, and they seemed to have an “ I don’t give a crap” attitude towards customers, myself and numerous friends have seen first hand. TL was top notch customer service, phone calls answered, no vague answers about products and accurate shipping information. Shame Tethrd seems to have sold out, caring about sales more than customers and customer service.

Its still coming off the tree even after you cammed it stand on it not sure what you weigh but im 215 and the standoff never grabs in tight

I just don't need a bigger platform, and I have a size 13 boot. I just find it easier to swivel around with a smaller platform like the original predator. MO

Ha ha. Yes, a lab claims unused toys, tools, and any item that looks neat enough to run off with. Mine is a sneak and runs away fast when he scores an item.
