Yea - I loved KZfaq because you could produce ANY content you liked and find ANY content you wanted. Stuff "TV" never provided because it was too niche or not acceptable to some peoples level of detail. All that is changing and they are forcing us to abide by "TV" like presentation formats. @@TheEmporiumOutdoors Oh Michael you must really come and visit, we stay in a small fishing village called Stilbay about 2 and a half hours drive from Cape Town, very quiet little town but December holidays it's impossible to get to the beeches or shops so fully booked it can get.

Take a look on KZfaq the guys name is Xander and he's channel is called "Zoo Look Fishing" most of he's video's is made on Stilbay, will hook you up with him when you decided to come and visit, he knows where the big boys are hiding. 👍👌✌🐾🎣

Thanks John - He's an old man now and I imagine him the same way too 😄 I knew it would upset some people about the fire by not digging a pit and then re-covering it etc but this is in the middle of nowhere and I want to establish a fire spot for the future. The are no stones to create a fire break (and I don't like making them as they stand out) and the best way I've found to create a safe fire area is to just burn it repeatedly. The foliage doesn't burn at this time of the year as its too lush and wet but you need still need to ensure the fire is watched at all times and put out before sleep. @@TheEmporiumOutdoors I also think it hasn't changed for the better. Maybe KZfaq lawyers are exaggerating the fear that advertisers have of hurting sensitive people. Sometimes I don't even know if there are so many sensitive people like that ... You know that there are people that even in small numbers can be quite loud. Here at home I always talk to my daughters where their food comes from. How things are achieved. It's a pity that people are so disguised to the point of denying the nature of things and still try to problematize something that is part of the natural cycle. I'm not saying that I'm going to show a video teaching how to gut an animal and remove its skin for a 3 and a 5 year old girl. But they know that animals are slaughtered for consumption ( can I use that word slaughtered? Sorry if I can't..don't remeber a synonym). And none of them stopped eating meat. But they started to give more value to the animals we eat and more environmental responsibility. I'd love to see one of your hunting sessions, but do not post anything like that here in your channel because you'll probably gonna in some kind of "has been cancelled list" of the KZfaq employees. I dont get it...it's just sad. Well...What can we do? Beats me... I think it's part of the game :/

Hi Stéphane - LOL I like the image of that!!! 😄 Its build that way so that when used on the ground (no cot) the fly would be like a normal ground tent, with the bathtub sides covering the lower portion of the tent. The Elite rainfly is the one to get for all occasions - more like an evening gown 😁 Yup, tracks and Argo'w will be out soon! 😉

Hi Larry, yes I have and really like them but the batteries would be toast in the winter here. Temps range from -20c to -40c in the winter. Gas chainsaws are reliable and work all through the year. 👍

I had the same question, but he's right, with how cold it gets here in the Midwest, battery operated gear gets stressed in it. Up where he is, the batteries would be completely frozen.

Hey Donald - thanks for the tip! The mat I use Klymit Insulated Static V Luxe and has a R-Value of 4.4 so for these temperatures down to -15c its fine. I did learn the hard way that a closed cell foam mat under the inflatable makes a big difference below that temperate. I have the Canadian military 🇨🇦 foamy and the Therm-a-rest Z lite also for later in the season! 😉 I'm close to Edmonton - How about you?

I know right! I have a cutting mat now 😉 Cast iron is not that hard compared to the CPM-3V steel, and I'm very gentle. When I see people use glass cutting boards I get the same feeling and they are much harder! LOL. Lemon pepper would be awesome and I'll check out that other channel 👍

Hi Christopher - I should make a Simon video, the same as Esme. He had a very hard life as a stray and we had the opportunity to foster him. He never left us 😊 Simon has been and will be an expensive dog because of his ailments and we did feel it was unfair to pass that on to someone else who would adopt him. We make sure he's well taken care of 😉

Hi Thane - There is a longer elite fly for rainy weather that TETON sells - I'd recommend that. For small showers the short fly works fine 👍 The floor is pretty water proof. If you post it on Instagram and send me a link that would be easiest! My Instagram is the_emporium_youtube

Hi Alan - The stew will cook on the fire for an hour after the water and potatoes are added - So they are just right and don't fall apart by being over cooked 👍
