2013 Honda CR-V VTC Actuator Issue 🔧👀👌

Жыл бұрын2013 Honda CR-V with 54K miles came in with CEL and Traction Control light ON.
Clatter noise from engine on start up.
Found engine over 2 quarts low (last oil change 2 years ago 3K miles)
Found timing is off.
Found timing chain tensioner over extened.
Found timing chain is stretched.
Found VTC actuator has failed and does not lock.
Replaced all of the above.

yea my car sounded like a gun machine when i cranked it on start, got it fixed but it cost like $2,400 dollars smh

I just replaced the spring in the actuator with a stronger spring and no more cold start rattle!!
