Man, I cannot wait to show off with this dish, for my next meal! I got a big head when I made your Pork Schnitzel and everybody went crazy for that. I always tell people where I get my meal ideas/recipes from. You two are my favorite!! Some cooking channels are painfully boring, but you guys really make me enjoy watching and I have fun trying it out. This looks amazing!

I liked watching you make this. My husband wants tamales for his birthday in January. Ok so first time I made these my mexican friend had just gotten his green card so we were having a green card party to celebrate and this is what he wanted. He took me to the mexican grocery store and loaded all this (very unfamiliar to this white lady, lol) stuff into my cart. He told me to read the directions on the Maseca brand of Masa (don't know if I'm spelling that right) and make the ones for pork. It took me three days, between making the sauce and the pork and finally filling them and steaming, thank God i started early, LOL!! I was making a lot so steamed them standing up in a big kettle. Everyone loved them ! I consider this party food because it is a labor of love. I am making your chicken filling for this next batch, it looks awesome. Wish me luck! Thanks for your recipe!

Ya’ll make me miss Texas so much!! I’m living in London now and there’s no Tex-Mex anywhere here that’s worth a damn. You should see what they try to pass off as enchiladas. It’s downright shameful. 😩 I’ve resorted to making my own Tex-Mex using ingredients I make my mom and sister send to me contraband style. My kingdom for a Hatch chile!! You guys are an absolute hoot, keep up the great recipes and banter. I’m having so much fun watching you two! (So many exclamation points!!!!!!!) 😂😂

Painfully Artistic We know your pain!!! We lived in Germany for a little while in the 90s and had to be very inventive when it can to trying to cook out fav Tex-Mex meals. Thanks so much for the comment - we truly appreciate it!

Keep up the fantastic work and think of me the next time you’re in one of those little hole-in-the-wall, loud tejano blaring, bright eye-poking color laden, family run Mexican restaurants where the food is amazing and all the recipes came from the family’s abuelita (who’s in the back making the tortillas). God, I can smell it now...
