Fun fact. George Spahn, the blind, elderly owner of Spahn Ranch, which the Manson Family lived at gave him the nickname "Tex" because he recognized his Texan accent.

Sharon Tate was born in Dallas, Texas . her parents were Texas natives. Doris Tate attended parole Hearings for Tex . Doris learned Tex Watson was also born in Dallas and reminded him that one of his victims her daughter was born in Dallas too. Doris fought hard to keep Tex, and Susan Atkins from getting out until Doris passed away in 1992.

@@carollewis3912 You can see the Watson home and business from the church parking lot. If you are standing in the parking lot facing the road, the house will be to your right. The old prison is located just off the Mckinney Town Square. I think the street name is Tennessee. It is easy to find. If you have any problems finding it go to the Town Square and ask some of the shop keepers. They all know where it is. The area on the side of the old prison was also where the last public hanging took place in Collin County. Tex's uncle was the County Sheriff when Tex was housed there. I hope this helps.

He was the type seen by those in that group as nieve, untrustworthy, easy to snitch, or throw somebody else under the bus according what Alot of that crowd that knew him has said. If you don’t want to post the information publicly please message me on here! Hi Anthonie, Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. The Watson family store is located on 78F near 5th street.
