Idk if it's just me but that beeping sound is exactly like the sound of the Dreamcast VMU makes when starting up the system with dead VMU batteries, as annoying as the sound is I do now find it soothing and nostalgic

The line 6 distortion module had an effect called "chainsaw". It made your guitar sound like a chainsaw thrown in a dumpster, so pretty accurate I guess. Edit: the effect was called "buzz saw", rendering this comment pointless to the video.

Honestly one of few times my mind isnt in the gutter and you go saying lumpy penis. Well I was going to say a faucet with the knob on the top but whatever. Texas faucet massacre doesnt have the same ring to it anyway. Also hopefully this doesn't come off weird but that shade of red is amazing.

The Wheelchair obstacle was a nod to one of Leatherface's victim's, Franklin. A paraplegic young man, brother to the heroine of the film, Sally Hardesty. He was killed by Leatherface and honestly, he was kind of an annoying a-hole! A lot of fans cheered when Leatherface did him in within the film! Nice little touch for such an odd game as this!

The wheelchairs are there because Franklin in the movie used one. The biggest holy shit moment in the film was the disabled guy getting cut in half lol

The reason the movie was still considered relevant enough for a game at the time was because the movie wasn't just released to theatres for a single year. The distribution company behind the movie actually released it once a year for 10 years after it was originally released, every time as a summer blockbuster.

This looks like it was made by the same people who did the ET Atari game the same year (The good ET game on the 8-Bit systems, not the notorious one), except I don't think it is. If not, one of them ripped off the other because the game play is awfully similar between the two. It even has the same "screaming" noise, which I now realize was supposed to be ET screaming when the scientists/police got too close to him and not just some sort of sensor alarm. That makes the game far more disturbing somehow.
