Never understood taxidermy, as a child I slept in a room with a bunch of trophy’s and man they don’t blink and just stare at you. I respect the craft though, hope aliens don’t treat us this way.

I feel what you say by they stare at you my dad got rid of his big buck that was in my room I said nope can’t deal with it the house was haunted and I want having it lol now I deeply regret that because I’d like to have it now

Down here in the South, ur told as a kid when walking in the brush, to be careful of their tusks. The collared peccary gets its name from the Spanish "wild boar". Its colloquially called the Javelina because of their javelin-like tusks.

Raptors are a protected bird in the US and can only be mounted under special circumstances. Such as for a museum :)

One, preparing the skull is a pain. Two, if he did use it, he'd have to sculpt each muscle on the skull by hand. Some people use skulls still, most don't.
