Texas vs Washington (CRAZY GAME!) | Winner To USA Championship | 2023 LLWS Highlights

Texas and Washington played in a winners bracket game at the 2023 Little League World Series that would decide one of the teams who advance to the United States Championship Game on Saturday. The loser would play the winner of Tennessee-California on Thursday, which will decide the other team playing on the USA side on Saturday.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Shortstop made an incredible play to end the game! To catch the hop, spin around, and throw a dart to first takes some great talent.

I played shortstop my entire life and most people truly don’t understand how difficult it can be to play that hop to begin with. Then the spin, and a good throw to first. Excellent play

This was one of the most well played games I have seen in the Little League World series. That kid for Washington who came in with the bases loaded and no outs then went 3-0 on the first batter only to strike out the side without giving up a run was one of the most clutch moments I have seen in these games.

too bad the umps behind the plate couldn't make some very simple calls for balls and strikes. Did a decent job but some of his calls were outright atrocious, kids deserve better than that.

@@freshnorthwest6756 Yeah, I saw a few that were outside the "Little League plate norm" . We would usually give the Pitcher the black of the plate, maybe more, if he has earned it.

That bases loaded, 3-0 hole to comeback and strike out 3 in a row was still clutch af for that pitcher even though his team ultimately lost.. One of the best games I've seen in the LLWS.

One of best games I’ve seen in the llws. First that missile from the center fielder to home to save that very important run and then in the end, the shortstop from texas saved the game for them with that spin and throw 🔥🔥

DJ the catcher was clamping the glove shut so the sliding runner wouldn't knock the ball loose. What great fundamentals.

The BEST LLWS game I have watched in a LONG time! Each of the teams refused to let the other one score! EXCEPTIONAL pitching!!! Defensive and game saving plays and catches one after another! Both teams are well coached and show great sportsmanship! I have been pulling for Needville, TX, since this is their first time being there, and they are a small town like mine is... These teams could very well be facing one another again for the United States Championship. It would be great to see that happen and there be a "round 2", but I don't know HOW they will be able to top this one! 🙂

Wow as a kid i lived in Needville and remember just playing in the cotton fields. Its been amazing to see them come this far im just happy they're there and playing phenomenally!

Man, I was nervous that whole time 😂 hell of a game! One of the best defensive showings this year so far from both teams! And the pitching was on point all the way throughout! These 2 definitely deserved to be here!

Super unfortunate that the Washington coach decided not to bunt with runners at 2nd/3rd and no one out in the 9th. Defense was playing deep. Lay one down the line and the game is tied at least.

Not every kid can reliably lay down a bunt. If your kid cannot get a bunt down, then you just cripple him by making him try and he fouls off two pitches, then only having one swing to try to move the runner over with what he may do better than bunting . . .

Even more amazing given how many games at this level score runs on wild pitches and passed balls. Great pitching, phenomenal catching and defense. Too bad they both couldn't advance to the winner's bracket as they used a lot of their pitch counts for the next game.

Great awareness and fundamentals through the whole game even though alot was on the line in a very tight game. The Washington starting pitcher was amazing. That throw from the center fielder in the bottom of the 5th perfect. Texas 2nd baseman played perfectly. Im from Texas so of course I'm rooting for them but both teams played lights out.

The level of talent and sheer ability of some of these kids is amazing. The skill level for these young baseball players is definitely at an all time high. These kids are making college type plays look routine. Unbelievable!!

That game was an instant classic. For all the negative comments on this video. 1. Where is your team that you coach in this tournament? Lastly to question some of the coaches decisions in this game is natural but they didn’t make it this far by making many bad decisions. It’s easy to second guess when your team loses but same decisions in a win, no one talks about it 🖐🏽🎤

Really gonna miss watching this team. This team was probably the best Washington team I have ever seen and most of the team Washington are just a mediocre baseball state but they hanged In there with California and Texas who are always good! So I just want them to be proud of what they accomplished by being the 3rd best little league in United States for 2023.
