Lisa Helfman with H-E-B said the company is working hard to get all products back on the shelves, but it may take a little longer to restock dairy products.

I lived in Texas (Burleson) for 6 years and I loved HEB. Great customer service and affordable with excellent selection. I'm back in New York and going broke trying to feed my family bc our largest grocery chain here raises prices weekly and has no problem with this. Miss you HEB.

God bless HEB!!!! I love these people. They were the only stores open when Krogers and Randalls were cold and dark. HEB at Bunkerhill was open even during the flood a few years ago. I will never shop anywhere else. This company should receive the Congressional Medal of Honor for courage and bravery and being there when the rest of Houston was shut down.

True. My Kroger was closed and dark and HEB was open and their employees were working hard and very friendly. They are truly dependable and always helpful during our time of need.

I love HEB. I love their large selection of foods and there is no wait at their check out lanes and their checkers are so fast. Amazing. They have great prices. Wal-Mart could learn much from HEB.

ALL of this, ...all of this misery would have never occurred if Texas "simply" winterized their power utilities .. like most everyone else. SO WHAT.. if it costs dollars to do that long needed preparation work, aren't the wonderful folks of Texas worth it? You answer that.

This would have never happened if Texas would have told Obama and his communist green energy to pound sand and opened another nuc plant.

These people had plently of warning, yet did nothing. I can understand for a few it might be transportation or budget, but there should never this many people with all the warning they had. It made it bad for the people who could finally get out.

Plumbing stuff is out of stock at home depot and lowes so people can't fix their pipes. Donate pipe solder, copper fittings, pvc glue, Teflon tape, 3/4" 1/2" and 1" pvc slip fit couplers.

Curbside is really hit or miss. Sometimes I’ll be waiting 30 minutes for them to come out with my groceries. Could of went in and got everything myself in that time, totally negates the purpose of curbside.

It's been like that since the beginning of Covid. I've not used curbside so I can find my own alternative to what's not in stock.

Why are people wearing short, walking with open coats, no hats or gloves. That's confusing. 🤔 Most videos show some people not bundled appropriately; kids still playing outside, etc. I am praying for everyone suffering right now. Having said that, I can't help but take notice that some people are less bundled than others outside. Maybe daytime temps are more tolerable. 🧐
@tyd80773 жыл бұрын
What are you suggesting - that it's a hoax? 🙄 Of course daytime temps are more tolerable. The freezes happen overnight. A lot of people don't have winter clothes. Also, people go from home to car to store here. Not a lot of time needs to be spent lingering outdoors.
@marchesa2u3 жыл бұрын
@@tyd8077 Not a hoax, I assumed a little careless considering it's very cold and the flu pandemic is still supposedly still around. No, this matter is no joke!! My boyfriend is losing his farm animals in Jackson County. His trees are all gone. He wasn't ready either. He has no water and no power He's staying in a hotel in palestine but running back and forth to feed, fuel the small generator for the animals left, and to repair a frozen pipe leak. It's not looking good. I'm ok in GA right now. I hope he's heeding my advice and bundling up; he's the stubborn kind and I can't handle any more surprises.

@@marchesa2u it depends greatly on the city. Dallas and Austin got hit much harder than South in Houston. We still got it in Houston, but not quite as bad. Very different situations depending on the city or even the neighborhood. Texas is huge. It's not a conspiracy. For instance, half my building was without power, my apartment never lost power. I didn't suffer much. But people just down the hall from me were living very different realities.
