Rain takes me back to when I was a kid and my sister and I would “shelter” from rainstorms. We’d get a bunch of blankets and sit under the doorframe with the lights off and some candles lit. So, you folks think you need to listen to the rain? Well, I live in Death Valley, California. To say that it is dry here most of the time would be a major understatement. Yes, it does rain here, at times. Just not often enough for most of us. I love the rain, always did. To be able to "virtually" experience a rain storm on my television is greatly appreciated. Since I am an "aficionado" of rain videos, (so to speak) I must say this is one of the better ones. Many thanks to TexasHighDef for this excellent offering.

I like listening to this while I memorize lines for plays. It's calming, and good for concentrating. I play this as I rehearse, and I listen to it just before the show. It's a really excellent technique.

I can see why some people choose to live in vans or rvs. this sound is incredibly relaxing. building a tin roof shed aint cheap.

I will often pour a glass of wine and sit in my SUV with the moon roof open and watch the lighting and listen to the thunder! I bought a barn with a red tin roof which I call my rain room...

This personally gives me a sense of security; it triggers emotions from being very young and being protected from the rain in my pram... Never fails to put me in a relaxed state before bed! A nice joint goes well with this in my opinion :)
