oh yeah 😌 finally a video that doesn't sound like someone let their shower run for 5 minutes, recorded the sound, then put it on loop for 10 hours with a looped background.

Giving you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ or 👍👍!!! A REAL video of REAL rain and REAL thunder and lightning - THANK YOU!!! Worked like a charm. I kept the screen dim, and the sound at a perfect realistic level (for my house) so while my eyes are closed, I can barely see a few bright flashes through my eyelids before hearing the thunder. Like I was there myself! I passed out in 5-10min. 5⭐️ or 2👍

TexasHighDef is still going strong after all of these years! This time I subscribed so your channel wouldn't slip through the cracks again. I heard there is a big demand from sleep videos with dark screen instead of images so people won't be distracted by the light. Yesterday, the amount of rain we had barely wet the sidewalk. Perhaps, everyone else was happy with that, but I am grateful I can come here and relax into a real rainstorm. Thank you, TexasHighDef! P.S. We love no loops!

Thanks for doing this cuz others I have seen are just a still picture and sound or it's looped. You let us actually see the storm, It's more relaxing this way. I sleep with my tablet propped up so if I wanted to open my eyes and watch it for a few seconds, I can, then close my eyes and continue listening until I fall asleep. This is the best video by far!!!! Huge thanks for your efforts on this video!!

I love this video! So many of the storms, beach sounds, and other nature sounds are looped, and it becomes obvious (and boring) after just a few minutes. This one is wonderful. It has the perfect level of thunder in the background so that it is soothing, yet not too disruptive. Of course, I am one of those people that loves weather like this. This is my "go to" sound when I'm having a hard time concentrating or going to sleep. Thanks, TexasHighDef! Good job!

Had to laugh:) Mine drowns out my loud neighbors as well! People were NOT meant to live so close that you can reach out and touch someone! I put this on my chromecast, plays on my t.v with our speakers that make this sound so real. Sooooooooooooooo relaxing! Can't wait to leave CA and buy LAND!!!

+Daniel Zarek Sound of rain like this keeps me up. I worry about my back stairwell drain filling up and water coming in down stairs. Not every rain gives me problems. It is those torrential rains. Keeping the gutters clean is half the battle. I know, I need to do something about the drainage around my house.

+Daniel Zarek WOW, you reply quick! My backyard slopes slightly toward my house, so nothing can be done about grading. I have a concrete stairwell with 2 steps that lead to a back door. There is a small drain in the bottom of the stairwell, but doesn't take the water well. I tried all types of methods to open it up, but no luck. I made a wooden cover to help shed the rain away, but when the rain water pools up behind the house, it runs over the edge and into the stairwell. I had water about 16 inches high on that back door. It holds the water back like a dam, but water does seep under the door, then into my lower level of my house. Enough with my problems... Enjoy the sound effect! :-)

Sounds like you need a sump pump that turns on when the water comes up. Lots of work but compared to digging your yard up its a breeze. That's how we fixed our flooding basement

First and foremost Thank you Texas hi def for all of the tube videos you have posted. Since discovery in approximately 2012 I've been using Thunder storms No Loops and occasionally others I am automatically transitioned to. Obviously this is your biggest hit to date. Even though it's not necessary, some players allow you to loop it , even after 4 hours.

I don't know since how long I was looking for this kind of sound & scene I love it I die for it because it recalls my child hood memories,actually I was born in Pakistani city Peshawar, where this kind of storms are very common unfortunately my father who was a federal government servant, transferred to another Pakistani city Karachi when i was only 10 year old, and there is no rain in this city.Thank you very much TexasHighDef now a days I'm living in Raleigh NC.

Well the thing about this one is you got the sound of a Gale blowing,and I happen to like Gale.When she blows together with rain a thunder you got the magic combination.You can watch and listen to her from your little cave and you are perfectly safe from her nastiness.Living and loving it from the West Country UK.

Thank you so much for the outstanding "Rain & Thunder Sounds." After so many hot summer days,I was needing a real good rain & thunder shower. It's very relaxing & soothing,and with so many choices from daytime to nighttime. As well with changing screens of flowers,or chanted forests,or tropical rain forests you can change the mood you are looking for. You almost can smell that fresh after the rain smell.

I will listen to stuff like this if I just want to chill and relax or when I am doing school work. It helps me work faster than music does. Also, when I get real thunder storms, i like to wrap myself in all my blankets and sit in the corner wall on my bed and watch Netflix.

its winter time here in Indiana so I am definitely missing those awesome thunderstorms. . not the rain though. we have oddly enough had plenty of that this December. so glad I found your recording of the storm! most videos are just the audio with a single photo of a storm cloud. I live in FL, a place where people think we get rain and storms all year around. The reality is that we get storms every single day from early June until the end of September. For the remaining 8 months, it rarely rains. I'll definitely be listening to this more, say, around March or April!

I passed through Ft. Lauderdale after a month-long stay at a friend's place. It seemed to rain everyday in the early afternoon, cooling things down for a little while, but then the humidity would bounce back. It was oppressive. I'd take a cool shower to cool down and after I stepped out of the shower, drying myself, by the time I got down to my knees, the sweat was running down my back again. They had the A/C running almost constantly and when I'd first step into the house, it felt almost too cold, but quickly got used to it. When leaving the house in late afternoon, it was like walking into a wall of heat and humidity. It takes getting used to, since I was acclimated to Minnesota weather, where winters feel like 5 months long.

I consider myself to be rather 'astraphilic' or 'keraunophilic''! Hence I LOVE thunderstorms! Unfortunately where I live they are extremely rare! I savour any moment when thunderstorm exists (though of course it is not wise to be stuck out into one! Watching from window or balcony is enough).

Max Horowitz Dear max ,if you're indoor I don't see a logical explanation to be afraid , like retrogamer33 , I love too the rain and the thunder sound but , in your case , you have to be aware that if you're indoors , the thunder and the lightning it's not gonna hurt you , the thunder neither if you're out doors and the lightning it's 1 in a million chance to struck you or even smaller percent (likely never).You have a roof above you mate.
