Personally I love the style of the M9. Seeing the barrel right underneath the slide reminds me of the classic WW1 and WW2 guns. It's definitely a proven system that withstands the test of time.

I bought my M9A3 6 months ago, only put about 200 rounds through it, and that thing is money. So smooth and flat shooting.

The G19x, with the bevertail adapter on the grip, has been the only Glock I've ever liked, need a G45 to go with it. Also like the M18, maybe a little more than the 19X. The M9A3 is a elegant weapon, for a more civilized age.

I think you'd like the Sig AXG Pro even more. It has the aluminum lower, so it feels more like the M9. Best of both worlds. I still have 2 p320 compacts somehow.. I still need to get a full size.

Glock MHS, the version used for trials, had a manual safety like the m17 and the m9a3

Fun video. I have all three and have the same feelings about each that you do. Beretta easiest to shoot with iron sights, could not shoot the Sig well without the red dot, 19x has some challenges with the grip angle and shortest of the group sight radius. All cool guns!

3 awesome pistols!!! I think Glock 19x size wise is a better choice for concealed carry as well. But in general you can't go wrong with any of these beauty's!

Love my LTT slightly tweaked M9A3-G w/RMR, but due to its heft I prefer to use it recreationally and reserve it for nightstand duty. I have one Glock, a 19 Gen 5, and think of it like a fleet vehicle - it’s size is adequare enough and does what it’s supposed to when it’s supposed to, but isn’t particularly thrilling or inspiring. I like the weight, look and feel of my P320’s w/Wilson Combat grip modules for day-to-day excursions (and similarly configured P365XL as warranted).

Haven’t shot a Beretta since my time in the USMC but I remember passing pistol qualification for MSG with relative ease. I carry a Glock 26 edc because it’s my little tank.

The Beretta M9A3 with the langdon tactical slide with a red dot plate is wonderful. I have a leupold deltapoint pro on it and it has been a solid shooter.

The Glock for the military trial did have an external safety. The civi one does not. They all had to have the same specs the military asked for to even be considered

I've got the Glock 19X and the M9A4. My pick hands down is the M9A4. She just feels right to me. The trigger on the M9A4 is awesome, combined with a Wilson Combat metal guide rod, upgraded spring kit, and buffer. She's smooth as glass. The Glock 19X is a great pistol as well, but for me, Beretta has always felt better in my hands.

This was a great video. Super informative. Looks like I need to get a red dot sight. I had the exact same issue you described when shooting the m17. Is there an online retailer you prefer to source the sight?

Have you tested the Beretta M9A4 w/ the ability to mount red dot optics ? I love my M9A3, my ideal pistol.

Just a note: The G19X pistols Glock supplied for trials did have external safeties per Army contract requirements.

A lot of people hate the M9 but I think it's the best looking pistol.

Still prefer the one thats not on the list M&P 2.0 compact. 8k rounds through mine without a single gun related malfunction.

I have 2 M9A3 berettas as my home defence guns. Hands down one the highest quality pistols ive ever shot

I picked up a loaded (bench worked trigger and mag guide options) Wilson Combat/Beretta 92G Brigade Tactical around five years ago. A bargain at around $200 more then the M9A3s MSRP. Would take that over this trio hands down. Yes, I have shot all three of these vid guns side by side vs the BrigTac. A manual safety on a DA/SA handgun is 🤪.

I love all 3. The 19x is probably my favorite for most stuff, but the A4 is so sexy.

I carried an M9 in my military days, just recently bought my P320 M17. It won me over by its look an feel after shooting. Never shot a glock

I don't own these exact three models, but I do own a 92 Brigadier, 19X, and a P320 X5 Legion. I'd have to go with the 19X for sure.

I recently got an M17 and replaced the grip module with the Wilson Combat grip module. It's amazing.

The style of the Beretta is unbeatable imo

my first firearm was the glock 19 gen 5, I didn't know anything about sig at the time, dude at the shop was telling me that the sig is a better option, honestly should've went with the sig but I do love my glock.

In june 2020, during the lockdowns, i was able to get a new m17 for $650, taxes and shipping to ffl included. That was with the case, 17 rnd mag, lock, manual, certificate for 2 free 21 rnd mags, patch and other sig stuff. The pistol price was $600. Later got the m18 slide assembly for a quick m17/m18 switch back and forth and crossbreed supertuck holster. I was surprised at how comfortable a full sized duty pistol could be to CC.

I did not shoot my 19X that great with the stock irons. Had it milled for a red dot and now it’s one of my favorite pistols. Red dots definitely make a difference

Hey, I'm new to this video, but what is wrong with Olight? I'm running the same exact setup you have on your 19x on mine, and my Olight PL2 hasn't had any issues at all, and it's very bright.

I’ve shot all 3 and the Beretta is still the still the smoothest and most pleasant to shoot.

Between these 3 choices I have to go back to my roots and go with the M9A3.

I have the 19x and the M18. I love both, but using the Sig Romeo on the M18 I am just a bit more accurate with it. I also have the upgraded trigger and manual safety removed (it came that way). I will get the Beretta some day. Also, I live in Texas too. I love your videos.

I love GLOCKS after i've modded them to my liking. usually a Johnny Glocks trigger and sights. That said I've only had one firearm that was perfect out of the box...the CZ P-10C

Qualified on M9, so I'm tempted to buy myself the Beretta. Glock loses me on the grip angle for the same reason you listed. All mine have Polymer80 frames because of that. Sig, I'm not sure of yet. Still seeing a bunch of reports of unintended discharges on the P320.

Great video. I personally love shooting the P320. It naturally shoots great for me but I always have that worry in the back of my head about the quality issues which keeps preventing me from purchasing one. Does anyone know if the M17 has had any issues? Specifically discharging while holstered?

Is there any notable difference (however subtle) between the M17 and M18? Which one would you prefer if you were limited to using one or the other?

Nice pistols it really depends on the shooter. I have 6 Berettas, one by my bedside in a locked box, one in my truck, one in my car, and one I carry, all have good premium bullets in the magazines and the others in my safe. 👍

My m17 was 19x price I love the Sig it’s my first gun so ofc I’d say that lol but m9a3 was definitely one of my options awesome video

I wonder what your opinion on the M9A4 is. Optics cut, improved trigger, one more round of capacity, different finish.

I like the styles of the Sigs so much but It just doesn't fit my hand that well and it doesn't feel as comfortable as the Glocks. I don't know what it is but only the SW M&P 9 2.0 and the Springfield Armory XD have managed to fit my hand in a similar yet inferior way even though they're both bigger than my Gen 5 G19 .

My favorite to shoot is 19x actually my nightstand gun. Now for the m9a3 I’ve been wanting to buy but just can’t justify buying yet badass gun no doubt. I’ve had my eyes on the p320 line for a while now since my carry is a sig p365 just not sure what model to get.

Depends on the application combat system in personal carry are 2 diffent for me. But here goes for combat the m9a3 for reasons there's way to many to list second would be probably the m17 just for the barrel length gives you the full capability of your 9mm last being glock 19x not a knock on the gun it's just wear it would land if it was up to thes 3 in a combat scenario. But if we're talking personal carry the first would change the glock 19x for availability of after market then m17 because it's compatible with our military sidearm so there going to be everywhere for along time in our course the m9a3 last because as personal carry you don't need all that the more natural then weapon fits comfort is better in this scenario. But in the end of the day all 3 or these are simply not what I would go with if I had other options. But now iam rambling great video man.

If you don't like the glock grip angle, try a polymer80 lower. I have one for my 41, which is 45acp, but I assume the angle is probably the same for the 9mm guns. In a perfect world, glock would license their design or buy them out and make all their guns like that going forward. Way better than the original, again, at least for the large frames (.45/10mm).

I like the Beretta or the Glock. In a SHTF my BOB has a 19X and extra mags, several of the 33 round mags. I only have 1 hand that works so I need a capable pistol that holds a lot of ammo. Ive never tried the sig to be honest though.

We are a lot a like in that I think the 1911 is the best pointing pistol in hand...for me. I bought the X5 Legion carry w/threaded barrel and mounted a Delta Pro. LOVE IT. I bought the M17 Kit from Sig and swapped in a FCU (from a full size legion) and love that too. I put a Delta Pro on it so basically same pistol you fired except mine has no manual safety. Mine jammed on my reloads, but fired fine with WWBox. (Likely needs broken in better). I don't care for Glocks and will never own one. Just not a fan...boy. Give my Beretta 92S to my son. Like the pistol, but like red dots now as I had lasic surgery and my close vision makes shooting iron sites NOT FUN. Enjoyed your review. Subscribed.

Never been a Glock guy for the same reason, I hate the grip angles. Also always prefer a metal frame gun for reduce recoil although I understand why some of those go fast guys carry polymer for weight reduction. I would prefer the beretta although I would get the A4 with decocker only. Also just watched Ian’s video where he ran the m17 and the new m5 and the m17 hung up like mad, which is a common complaint I’ve heard.

I have the m9a3 abs the g19x. The accuracy and trigger on the beretta are the winners for me. Glock is much cheaper and it shows in the trigger. That said either of these two will get it done and you can trust your life with them. I rotate between carrying both and wouldn't feel let down with either. Can't wait to add a m17 to my collection. Will be my first sig.

Pretty easy for me. The Glock. When I do the point with yours close then open, the Glock is always inline for me. The m9 was the first real pistol (bigger than a 22. Lr) that I ever shot. Still holds a spot for me. Shot a sig but wasn't really a break through, exciting or no improvement over my Glock shooting abilities. So Glock for me.

I EDC my custom g19 but I absolutely love the sig M18 really hope to get on after the need to stock up on food and ammo relaxes.

My first hand gun was a 19x, i wanted to love it but when i shot it it didn't feel right to me. I then bought the m9 and it was a perfect fit

I just bought the Beretta M9 for a haven't tried it yet but I think they'll shoot very nice the Glock 19x with the OverWatch precision flat trigger is a great shooter the stock trigger makes the gun horrible but the 19x with the flat trigger is very well balanced very fast one of my favorites the m17 is decent I could shoot well with it

I personally love the R4a14a1 pistol it just looks like something from call of duty blacks ops 6 and it’s light weight and easy to carry around

Is the P320 still not drop safe? Are the frames still breaking when you put 147 grain through them?

Nice review. I like the Glock and Beretta. The Sig, I’d throw in the trash. The Sig at 216.00 as what the DoD paid for them each, you get what you pay for. It’s too bad you didn’t have the M&P 2.0 there as it was also submitted in the military tests. It’s a good gun too.

I've tried both the Glock and the m9a3 for tactical conditions and torture testing I would recommend the Glock for EDC everyday of the week but I would not recommend the Glock for field work. Sand and dirt jams up those magazines real quick where is the m9a3 sand and dirt is not a problem

I own the M9A3, S&W 2.0 and the M17 they are great guns. I see why the military went with the M17. It's much lighter and met the fire control requirements. I didn't buy the 19X because I already have a glock, and that is one too many💯🤣 I personally like the Beretta best!

try an m9a4, they came out not too long ago, they are factory cut for a optic.

I really like the Sig a lot having handled a P320 recently. Still waiting for one to show up at my LGS to buy. May end up having to shop online. I'd probably prefer the M18 over the M17 due to size since i'm not a big guy. Now that being said it's hard to beat a Beretta 92 based pistol. I've got a older 92 and I love the thing. The Glock, well, is a Glock. It's probably going to be as reliable as hell even if the ergonomics aren't on par with the others. I do think it's a tiny bit on the spendy side considering the Sig is almost the same price as configured and typically Glocks come in a bit cheaper but I'd still own one. As a matter of face I put a 19x on lay away at my LGS today. Now to find a M17/18 and an M9
