One small note: I said Nolan Ryan was signed in 1989, but it was actually 1988 during the offseason. His first season with the team was 1989 which is probably what caused my confusion.

One key point in 2007 was the Mark Texeira trade. We got Elvis Andrus, Neftali Feliz and Matt Harrison out of that, all three of them being big parts of the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

You did a wonderful job with this video but here’s an update on October 24 2023. Last night the Texas Rangers knocked out the two time defending champion Houston Astros in game seven of the ALCS to advance to the World Series with home-field advantage against the winner of the diamondback or Phillies game seven tonight. So the answer to your question for better days ahead. Yes, indeed let’s go rangers.

Great video. My grandparents loved the Texas Rangers. They took us to a few games growing up. I am now starting to get back into the Rangers again. It feels very nostalgic watching their games. Thanks for this video.

I was there at game 6 alcs in 2011 it was awesome. the world series was heartbreaking. I just want to see them win the world series but I feel like it wont happen

Enjoyed the video. Of course you cannot cover all highlights but great job none the less. I grew up in Arlington moving there in 1972 and was able to watch the team grow over the years.

It was hard having to grow up with this franchise, as I've lived in D/FW my entire life. Their second ballpark was a better place to watch a game than was the first, but I've accepted Globe Life Field, which will be very good (and comfortable) for many years to come. The Rangers have had some fine moments (amid much futility), but their fine wine years happened ten years ago with a good run in the first part of last decade. They'll always be second banana in Texas to the Houston Astros in terms of overall franchise success, but they will make things interesting in the next few seasons after some great offseason moves to shore up their pitching. The Rangers will be fun to watch in '23.

There were absolutely zero reasons to mention that the law enforcement agency has a racist history. The Rangers are among the most respected law enforcement institutions in the country.
