The weapons in Team Fortress 2 are iconic, but what if I didn't get to pick the items I use, or use items in the first place. Second Hand TF2 is a challenge in which you only use weapons dropped by other players.
While it didn't go the way I expected it was a fun challenge and pretty eye opening. If you think my win is illegitimate then like the video and I will play this challenge again live.

default lerp settings are borked, use a cl_interp lower than 0.05 instead of 0.1, and cl_interp_ratio 1 also cl_cmdrate 66 cl_updaterate 66 i believe and set rate (kb/s) to at least 30-50% of your computer’s available internet speed in kilobytes per second. it severely helps with melee hit registration, as the interp is the delay between when your computer recieves the info vs when your computer displays info, the default settings are for 3G networks or worse.

The first time I saw a weapon on the ground, I thought that if I picked it up I could keep it. Needless to say, that’s not how it works.

Honestly, that’s a great idea! That could even be used for an alternate way to do this. Second hand speed run, trying to get X kills on each class with other people’s weapons.

I did the same when I was playing as a soldier miner which was able to use only pickaxe and nothing more except for the moments when he finds a weapon.

love to see low subs TF2 channels gettin more love, great vid. is so funny watchin this because in old TF2 (im talkin about 2013) you wasn't able to pick up weapons from other players. The wep you had was the only thing youd carry, and when u unlocked a wep you used that everytime then u learn which wep was better ,etc. Ah... old times...

I remember playing TF2 on my first days and picking up weapons dropped by my teammates. I wonder why I even did this now, because the stock weapons are the only weapons in the game. (still proceeds to pick up a golden frying pan)

I'm happy you liked it. I use Premiere Pro but I've heard great things about Davinci. In Premiere it is just a key effect that makes it quick and simple.

I did play a couple rounds as Spy but it felt wrong since I can backstab with stock. Might try in the future but it’s just kind of a gray area I didn’t want to mess with.

It was something they added. Whenever a player dies they drop the weapon they were holding and then anyone can pick it up.

I've noticed that you have default lerp settings of 100 ms. That is painful to play I tell you. You may wanna give mastercomfig a try cuz it has lerps set to way lower values and it sure will boost your experience with the game. Just in case u don't know lerp is just an inerpolation which used to smooth out gameplay by cost of latency. E.g. if you have your lerp at 100 ms then there's additional 100 ms latency before you can actually see some actions on you screen

Why is you game so laggy, it's a 17 year old game. You don't need a super computer to run it. My previous PC had a 1080 (laptop version) and a i5 9300k with 8gb ram and it could run the game at 120+ fps.
