With the winner being declared on the 25th of September 2022 in a community post, a community post regarding this event will also be made.
RULES:
- You must get at least one kill with any weapon within the loadout set
- Sentry Gun Kills will not count
- The loadout kills must be in order, you can't start with the Enforcer and then end at the Syringe Gun
- Speedrun must be done within an official Valve server
- Footage must start at the beginning of a round or match, you can't midway join through a match, you have to be there at the start. If the game swaps sides however such as in Payload, I'll allow it.
- Friendly Kills will count so go crazy on them.

I'll try to list the music I can in the years section. Let's see if I get this right: 2007: A Little Heart to Heart - Team Fortress 2 2008: Underground Theme - Super Smash Bros. Brawl 2009: Loonboon - Plants Vs. Zombies 2010: The Battle of Lil' Slugger - Super Meat Boy 2011: You Are Not Part of the Control Group - Portal 2 2012: Hydrogen - Hotline Miami (Song created by M.O.O.N.) 2013: Athletic - Super Mario 3D World (Sometimes confused with Double Cherry Pass by OST uploaders on YT, but this song isn't that one) 2014: Strike the Earth! - Shovel Knight 2015: Can You Really Call This a Hotel, I Didn't Recieve a Mint on my Pillow or Anything - Undertale 2016: Last Surprise (instrumental version, probably the one uploaded by Faz) - Persona 5 And that's all the years! Fun fact, each song chosen had its video game released on the same year that was being discussed while said song was playing. Very nice touch! As for the outro theme, I can't pinpoint it, but I feel like it's something from Mother 3. But that OST has so many songs that I dunno if I can nail down exactly which one it is.

2007 was actually one of the best years for Medic. 15 years ago, a Sniper's aim could be challenged and Pyros didn't have airblast to push an Uber back. Engineers didn't have building pickups nor the Rescue Ranger to save their buildings from an Uber. No Uber-stunning Sandman nor Holiday Punch, no Dead Ringer to bypass chokepoints, no Buff Banner to snipe him with shotguns, no real counters to a Heavy+Medic combo (Snipers weren't good enough yet)... and nobody realized that Ubered patients were weak to explosive knockback. It was equal parts the loadouts of the other 8 classes, and equal parts nobody deleting the 450 health of a Heavy.

12:21 It was less of a wall and more of a circle around the engineer. Outside of deleting projectiles, I used to use it to track down spies and kill scouts who couldn't aim. All you needed to do was get close, m2, and wait. No aiming required.

You don't use the Red tape recorder to kill the sentry. You use it to do emotional damage to the engineer. Because him watching his level 3 sentry fold back into it's tool box will hurt him more than any number of ambassador headshots.

There's also the fact that red tape deletes the first upgrade almost immediately, guaranteed 200 metal down the drain. Also you can't self destruct building that's being taped, which can be useful against frontier justice engies.

No sapper allows self destruction while active of course but in that situation the red tape recorder's longer sap time is an asset. But in the end I just use it to be an asshole.

Can't believe you said Medic is the worst of 2007 classes, when Uber and healing were as powerful then as they are now. Real worst 2007 class is a Pyro, no airblast, old flame particle behavior, shotgun with old switch speed, stock melee only. No point in using 2007 pyro over any other power class.

The Engineer couldn’t move his buildings or upgrade his dispenser and tele at launch, and it wouldn’t be until nearly 3 years later he’d get the ability to move buildings and get the Wrangler, Frontier Justice and Gunslinger

@@majorian9406 An Engineer with level 3 sentry set up will hard counter pyro, so pyro is weaker. Also even at lv1 teleporter and dispenser provide support to the team, pyro does not.

Honestly, I always use the red tape. Partly to be contrarian, partly because in pubs sentry nests are unkillable so at least downgrading even by one level will waste a lot more metal. Even if there are 4 engineers around to protect the sentries, they will usually focus on the spy just long enough for the sapper to downgrade a level. Plus they never expect it.

N O. *puts the phlog* With the Phlog + Gas and Hot Hand its a terrible loadout. The Phlog has no airblast, and its better use a shotgun if you are with Soldiers but... Oh i have a stinky gas can. And a butt slapper. I think its better put the Volcano Fragment as the Melee but whatever. Im just saying my opinion for the worst loadout for Pyro.

@@BizarroSamuel_ No airblast kinda sucks, but the crits hit pretty hard, especially if you can just throw the can at a choke point and build some of the MMMPH bar :^) Also, IMO Volcano Fragment would be more useful than Hot Hand in medieval mode -- or just doing one solid crit hit instead of two separate ones.

Also remember when the short circuit fired as fast as the pistol, did okay damage, cost 5 metal, and deleted projectiles. I think lazypurple has a video on that. From a few years back.

Unironically me and 2 others used to do booties and the quickiebomb and even in pre-buff it was really good, being able to sling like 200 damage at most any range with a wide range mortar team.

The red tape recorder is okay at least against turtle engies who literally sit on their buildings. The regular sapper just removes health so a few wrench swings can undo that quickly, but the tape recorder will now make them have to use more metal to upgrade their shit again.

I know one way that makes bonk useful and that is as a sentry distraction,.You bonk and stand in front of a enemy sentry and then another person on your team destroys it as its targeting you leaving the sentry and its nest defenseless and therefore you dont require a uber to destroy it. It is a really good strategy but unfortunately people usually don't follow along with the idea despite it actually being a pretty good one its helped me in quite a few games.

No way was medic the worst on launch. No airblast meant Uber was basically unstoppable. I distinctly remember pyro being the weakest class on launch, and wasn't really good until airblast.

Oh the Rocket Jumper was WAAAAAYYYY worse back in '10 when it was first added. It was added to the game with a -100 HP PENALTY only to swap that out with a +100% DMG VULNERABILITY to EVERYTHING during the Smissmas update. You died immediately to anyone sneezing in your general direction and your only saving grace was the OP old Equalizer, random crits and preying on incompetent players.

The Eureka Effect is not the most forgettable weapon, especially not after Uncle Dane’s Jag-Effect rollout became popular, plus its mechanic is popular with ninja-neering If you wanna talk about a weapon that’s absolutely forgettable, talk about The Family Business, I don’t think ANYONE even REMEMBERS Heavy has his own shotgun variant

Nah family business is commonly used for fat scout. Obviously said it for the script and so the writing was fleshed out but from personal experience I've forgotten that the Short Circuit was in the game several times while working on other videos, it's just like a niche item and it doesn't help that it was released alongside the two big game changer weapons (Machina, Diamondback) that are both primaries

the family business is basically THE fat scout weapon because of the two extra shots in the clip; it's really good when you decide you're not using your minigun for reasons i'd say the most forgettable weapon is like, the southern hospitality or the pain train (or if you wanted to include reskins, the crossing guard or something)

I will never understand the flak Bonk gets. When it was first added, it was the way to deal with sentries without waiting for 90 seconds to get an uber. You chug that thing, you run in, the sentry shoots an *invincible Scout* while someone else takes out the sentry. Even after the nerf of "slow down after using Bonk equal to damage ignored" and the addition of a Wrangler, the Engineers more often than not run away or stick to repairing their sentry under fire, and a Scout can still eat those shots by interposing himself between the shooting ally and a sentry - bullets fired by Heavy go through Scout and Demos just need to aim a bit higher. Something that has a ~20 second CD and is available *immediately* vs something you have to build over the course of *one and a half minutes* while risking losing it to a back stab, playing a class nobody wants to play - any reasonable person will pick the former

Worst these days is Hard to say, Demoman B.A.S.E Jumper, Persian, and Quick/Scottish Resistance is one of the top 3, Soldier with Gunnboats, Rocket Jumper and likely Paintrain/Escape Plan, and Pyro Phlog, Gas Passer and Volcano Fragment are all equally as Bad as your 1 good damage score is kind not good on it's own and rely too much on enemies not having ears or/and eyes to get get kills.

As unbalanced as the old short circuit was, I still miss it greatly. The particle deletion was much cheaper and bigger (but shorter) which made it a nightmare for demos, soldiers that like to just shoot at your feet, and it was the best spy checker (the old short circuit had like a little lightning bolt trail that followed cloaked spies) in the game outside of pyro.

2007 and 2008: Heavy I believe had the worst loadouts during this time. In 2007 Heavy's minigun spun up as fast as the natascha does today, Shotgun is alright, but the fists are the worst stock weapon due to his speed. Heavy just had an all around worse kit then even the medic, Bonesaw is an old reliable and the Syringe Gun while bad was an ok defensive option. In 2008 Heavy's Natscha had an ok slowdown effect for a chunk of damage lost, Sandvich couldn't be dropped and only healed 120 Health, and the fists again are still mediocre.

Short circuit and eviction notice are bad. Everything else is either op on mvm or situational. Even then some are actually good like the Persian Persuader and Atomizer. Also the Manmelter is practically a straight upgrade to the flaregun, there's almost no point not to use it instead of the normal flare gun. Also how did the pomson spell medigun wrong

The original Short Circuit was way more dumb and easy to use. The primary fire does a short range taser attack. The secondary fire shot out a projectile deleting attack within the same range as the taser. The issue was, no timing was needed. You hold down alternative fire, and for the low cost of five metal, you delete a projectile near you. Sticky trap? Gone Critical rocket? Gone Arrow? Gone Ten soldiers firing rockets at your single sentry? Might be enough to drain your metal reserves to kill your sentry. The current version requires you to time and aim your ball to delete projectiles, so is more fun to play with and against.

I believe this loadout was from around 2012: Spy with Diamondback, Red-Tape Recorder, Your Eternal Reward, and Dead Ringer OG Diamondback gave crits when a building was destroyed by your sapper, not backstabs. Otherwise it was a downgrade from Stock. And Red-Tape Recorder hasn't changed much so you know it's a shit weapon already. So now you have a worse revolver with basically no way to sap. But there's more. As you know, the Dead Ringer doesn't let you cloak until you're hit by an enemy (or take fall damage), but originally it didn't have the speed boost it's so well known for. In addition, the Your Eternal Reward originally didn't let you disguise. At all. All in all, you had a strictly worse revolver, no disguise, you needed to be shot at to cloak, on the weakest class in the game, and your ability to sap buildings if you could even get to them was severely reduced.

The overdose is so much better offensively than stock. I was using it the other day as battle medic on harvest. You can outrun basically everyone at full charge which is a godsend.

degreaser, gas passer, and hot hand. the gas passer needs damage to charge up correct, well what if you has a flamethrower that does less damage on all fronts, with it's only upside being switch speed, which, why would you ever switch to your gas passer over a shotgun or flare gun, as you are always going to be a safe distance from scouts or spies when using this, so you'd have to switch to the hot hand in a tight situation right? but then you remember the hot hand does less damage than the stock bat and gives you less of a speed boost than the powerjack. so you have a loadout with next to no damage, a worse flamethrower, and bad surviveability.

If you think that the 2011 Eureka Effect was garbage, may I introduce you to the pain known as the 2014 Eureka Effect. While you could finally haul your buildings, and teleport to your Teleporter Exit, it came with two new downsides: 17 Swings to Upgrade to Level Two (34 for Level Three), and repairing also being halved. You know, making the first job of the Engineer, upgrading buildings, into a task that takes double the time to do the same thing as any other wrench. And take your second job, protecting your buildings, into a even harder task. Fun.

Here's the thing about milk alright, tastes OK and such but if you invite someone over, and being the good host that you are and ask them what they want to drink like "I got coke, you want a beer? Just water?" And they say "Glass of milk." They're a serial killer. 100%

I do think these would be the worst loadout to every class nowadays: Scout: Backscatter+crit-a-cola+Sandman. Soldier: Rocket Jumper+Righteous Bison+Default Shovel Pyro: Phlogistinator+Gas passer+Hot hand. Demoman: Base jumper+sticky Jumper+Claidheam mor Heavy: The same you mentioned in the video. Medic: Default syringe gun+Kritzkrieg+Vita saw. Sniper: Classic + Razorback + Tribalman Shiv. Sydney sleeper at least has a increased charge, so it's not that bad compared to Classic. Spy: Enforcer+Red taper recorder+Your Eternal Reward+Dead Ringer.
