You know, I've never really looked into what other games these guys had done voices for, but around 13:50 the way he spoke made me realize "Holy shit! He was an NPC voice in Half Life 2!" I honestly fucking love these guys, and voice actors in general because it's so amazing to me how they can just become other people, essentially.

I love how humble they all are, especially Ellen admitting to having fun with the Sandvich saga despite her age, I can only image the amazing interactions if Rick May had still been around, I really think he would've loved being part of this. They give off "childhood friend group that never drifted apart" vibes and it's so entertaining, really wish we could have gotten them all together at some point, but maybe we'll still see them reunite with Engie and Scout someday? One can hope. Thank you for making this happen Shork, you've done so much for the TF2 community and you're incredible for it

But even then, they might do something similar to soldier in Expiration Date where they had someone else voice them.

I was 11 years old when TF2 came out. I am now 27 and the amount of childlike glee I got from watching this video was almost enough to make me explode. The TF2 cast will go down in history as some of the most beloved video game characters of all time and we have mostly these people to thank for that. Love and respect to all of them! just wish Rick could've been there as well ❤

anybody else start crying when they started talking about rick may in such heartfelt kindness? personally, i never got to meet him or see him in anything else, but it still just brings out such visceral emotion from me, as if i had known him all these years, bc of the impact he had on me ever since becoming a tf2 fan (more importantly after becoming a soldier main)

TF2 is such a huge part of my childhood growing up. I have over 3000 hours in the game and it brought me so much joy on countless occasions. These guys did such an amzing job voicing some of the most iconic characters in video game history.

Also I am curious, why is it that ChiliofDestiny never attends these reunions? He's been the most vocal in the Team Fortress 2 community as the Scout. Giving his voice in many updates, commissioning voice lines for fans on his Twitch. You'd think he'd be ecstatic to join these gigs! And I assume Grant Goodeve is not interested? The Engineer?

I love these guys. I love how the sniper, medic and sniper VAs have perfectly kept their voice after all these years. I feel kind of sad that Gary has aged, and has a harder time doing the Heavy voice.

Ellen is 70, John is 71, and Dennis is 63… it’s not a matter of Gary’s age, it’s just that Heavy has a voice that is hard to replicate 100% everytime.

this just brings me a certain type of happiness, ive put so many hours into tf2 and to see the chemistry of the voice actors in the flesh is awesome, especially going in and out of the voice of their characters, rest in peace rick may, wish we could have heard from you as well.

Man, seeing Gary, John, Robin, and Dennis up there makes me want to see Grant and Nathan. I do respect their privacy and I’m not saying we need to force them onto the stage, especially Grant since I know he isn’t really looking forward to doing anything acting wise, I just want to see them up there, almost all of the tf2 mercenaries making announcements is a dream come true. Rest in Peace Rick May, wish you could be here too.

It's always a pleasure to see them together like this. They all give off a sick energy, and I will always love them. They made Team Fortress 2 so alive with their voices, I love them!

oh its a joy even as a later fan of tf2 and portal 1 and 2 its just amazes me how the community brought super silent people back in full because we all love them so much everything they do just shows how dedicated both the fans and actors are I hope one day no matter what series people get to meet their childhood actors or favorite actors overall it is very momentous occasion and something worth cherishing for sure

@@DavrK If I had to guess it has to do something with that actor's pride. I think he was a bigger star back in the day and he considers voice acting some dirty work for some easy money or something, but keep in mind these are jsut my personal thoughts

@@Reppetixx It doesn't. They're simply busy in their lives. Mind you Grant Goodeve->The engineer is nearly 70. Nathan is well-known for Scout but wants to focus on his life and sort it out. Find the context clues on his channel and obviously, rick may isn't available since he's screaming at maggots to get better while teaching them in the land of clouds.

This panel was a ton of fun to attend! Even though I'm sad I didn't get a chance at the mic and I was too slow to get a forward enough place in line :( but still, had a lot of fun listening and hearing what the VA's, Shork, and some fellow fans had to say! (if anyone saw me, I was the casual BLU Medic with the Woolen Warmer hat and Archimedes and Medic plushes)
