First outing in a long time with the Zonda, starting out with some ABC 1816 props, which always goes well. Stay tuned for more speed runs this season! 2022 is going to be fast!!!

It dosen’t really matter. But i do inward. So left prop rotation is CW and right prop rotation is CCW.

@@EmilWilkens thanks. I just changed over to an noble nb4 this winter and went for my boat and crawler for the 8ch with antenna. You dont have any signal issue?

Not sure it reaches as far as my Old GT5 from flysky. But im happy for the additional features and telemetri for when i do racing especially.

Remove the big thread nut on the hollowshaft part of the drive closest to the transom. Then you can unscrew the support and remove. I use one piece flex shafts, much easier.

I have the same prop on my zip kits 33 fe and can’t get that kind of speed I have only achieved 78 mph and it’s running a 5 amp 100 c 6s lipo that gets to 55 Celsius. I am using a 200 amp ztw seal esc it’s quite heavy as is the TP 4060 brushless motor 1650 kv. Mine is 7.7 pounds though. How heavy is your zonda? I do run my boat a lot harder and longer including oval runs though. A 1917 abc cleaver only got 1.7 more MPH. And way hotter These Zonda’s are impressive and using only 120 amp EEC’s and cheap SSS motors and only 4000 mah lipo’s. So efficient

My zonda is about 6kg wet. I have actually been at 94mph with this excat set on a longer run. If you have been running 1917 and you rig got hot, its most likely due to the boat running more wet (sitting lower in the water), or the prop needing to be sharpened. I have run 1917 with very good numbers on my zonda as well. Its all about finding the balance between speed and stability. CG means more than you might Think. Cheers

I have sharpened and balanced the prop and have followed the zipkits instructions on the 33fe to the letter I have weighed the total weight and the back weight and the front as well the CG is right on spec. Wow 94 MPH that is just fantastic. I am considering going away from the TP motor to possibly a Steve Neu with a higher KV a guy on KZfaq is running a 33FE with a Neu 4068 2075 kv with an 1816 abc cleaver and just a flycolor 150 esc and he’s just shy of 90 MPH but the motor is seriously expensive.

You should start longer down the way. You didnt hold long enough . There is more speed to get b4 making changes.

No doubt my man! This was basically just an initial test, to see if the boat performes after nearly two years since going over 100kph. :P

@@EmilWilkens ok good. Yea take your time. I'm in fb jail for 6 days because of something I said. Lol so I've gotta lay low. Yesterday was a perfect day for a full speed run w my 114 but I wasnt prepared so instead I just played around w it which was fun. If this evening is as good as yesterday, I may try
