Great to see you Thomas! I bought a valve cover (MK4) from a national (USA) parts house that scraped the gasket off and siliconed a new one in.

We see this kind of stuff at least two times per year. Parts stores need to take a closer look at "not needed returned parts" before they put them back on the shelves.

Naughty naughty - you might want to write ‘ used part/return’ all over the box to stop it going back on the shelf and being sent to some other desperate mechanic at 3 pm on a Friday 😱
