Both times Toji died, he was pretty content with it. Both times because he was thinking about his son. Toji is just a great fucking character.

Love Sukuna just casually terrifying Panda and Kusakabe. Sukuna is that he truly lives up to the hype every single time he’s on screen. King of Curses for a reason. This episode is 15/15 Sukuna Fingers.

@@esdlegend5309 gojo is by far the strongest sorcerer alive tho, so him saying isn’t cocky if he’s telling the truth. Also sukuna says it through his insults, with the trash talk he’s always spouting it’s obvious he also knows he’s the strongest, just like how gojo talks trash as well

"With great power comes with great responsibility"- we all know Gojo learned it the hard way -Protecting peace is way harder than being free and just destroying who ever dares to oppose you like Sukuna.

@@esdlegend5309 plus Sukuna has a thousand years of knowledge and experience, he probably knows the previous user of six eyes and limitless fought the previous user of 10 shadow technique to the death thats why he know how to counter Infinity and make Megumi the vessel. - he started planing to make megumi a vessel since he met Megumi in season 1, he even made a pact with Yuji to obtain his goal - So he knows he can't beat Gojo unless he would catch him offguard to his Strongest cutting technique, because if Gojo knew Sukuna could unleashed such technique he'll probably dodge it instead of tanking it with Infinity. - Information and experience is an advantage and Sukuna probably learned that on all his fights. - this ain't coping im just sayin Sukuna has advantage on thier fight -Or im really is coping and yapping non-sense that isn't coherent to the topic.

This is the episode that made me and many others become sukuna fans Sukuna is evil He is ruthless and will humiliate you but he teaches his opponents and respects them after a fight Top tier villian He is such an amazing character This fight also showed how powerful Jogo is, despite sukuna throwing him around,we see how powerful his attacks are especially meteor

idc toji is my goat, even if he stays a 6-7 episodes character. His fights are the most fun to watch, the mix between his slow walks and his max speed is just so smooth. And they were able to make you feel for him on both deaths , which is insane for such a short screentime.

The amount of time Megumi survived is kinda impressive, considering how much time it took for Toji to kill Gojo the first time.

I mean Toji also had a specific plan for Gojo. Toji here is just in the spur of the moment. Toji had a lot of Intel on Gojo. Megumi is dope for sure but the situation is way different

To answer to your question about the animation. The reason it looks different and fluid is because of the director. His name is Itsuki Tsuchigami and he has animated Mob Psycho season 2 episode 5 (amazing episode) and episode 11 and 13 the finale.

The Meteor used by Jogo is like Geto's Uzumaki from the movie, it's the Supreme Art aka Maximum Technique, which is the strongest attack of the cursed technique. If Domain Expansions are the pinnacle of Jujutsu sorcery in which you create a barrier of your own world in which you always hit your opponent in a space built up by your own technique, Maximum Technique are a direct attack of fully concentrated power.

"I think that Shibuya is coming to an end...." That's an amazing quote given what happens during this arc. Also, the biggest fight of the arc is yet to arrive (next episode). That is going to be one of, if not the, most anticipated fights in the entire first half of the series.

16:56, both gojo and sukuna are right, gojo isnt being cocky when he calls jogo weak because jogo is genuinely weak in comparison to himself, and jogo is weak against sukuna as well. But sukuna is also right being overall jogo is strong but just not against himself or gojo. Also, important to note that gojo got sealed not out of being overpowered, but out of emotional shock, imagine having the main villain of the show make a plan to seal someone because they know they can't kill him by overpowering him

And the point about gojo being sealed doesn’t mean much because Sukuna has been sealed the entire show in yujis body, and the freedom he has right now is only temporary and it’s thanks to Jogo feeding him the fingers

@@LuciusArtoriusCastus. Exactly, theres nothing wrong about thinking sukuna is stronger or not since it's their own theory, but their evidence just doesn't match is what im saying. They're looking at this fight as proof even tho just like sukuna, gojo also didnt get hit a single time by jogo and was humiliating him the entire time, even to the extend of bringing yuji mid fight to make jogo into a teaching lesson for yuji.

@@farsous10 yup, and not to mention, Jogo used his strongest attack, domain expansion (the strongest attack of any sorcerer or curse), since it was the only one that could touch gojo, and gojo still didn’t get a scratch and was lecturing yuji inside the domain the whole time 😭 honestly you can’t use the Jogo fights to compare the two, the two situations are very different

Very fair points ^ just wanted to clarify what I meant by Gojo being sealed effecting how I view him (even if I’m totally wrong😂) sukuna has been sealed for a 1000 years correct, whilst Gojo got sealed in this time where he was supposed to be WAY above anyone else, whilst we don’t know much about who was around when sukuna got sealed All that said I truly believe they’re just levels above everyone lol but would pick sukuna in a 1v1

Bit late on the comment but the director for this episode was Miso, a.k.a. Itsuki Tsuchigami who put together a team of freelancers to help for these important moments of the arc. His previous direction roles have been for Mob Psycho II #11, Ranking of Kings #9 and #21, 1/3 of the Fate Camelot 2 movie, and a bunch of key animation from series like One Punch Man s1, Fate Babylonia, Fate Apocrypha, Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan s1 and a bunch more from other incredibly well animated series. Apparently Miso and the other key animators he brought on for this episode such as Nakaya Onsen (Toji vs Megumi), Sou Miyazaki (Sukuna vs Jogo), Toshiyuki Sato (Kusakabe & Panda), and Masami Mori (Jogo death vision) had a few months to work on this, luckily they are all insanely skilled and pulled it off under the garbage working conditions that MAPPA gave them. He has tweeted multiple times about how bad working on this episode was under the studio including how the pay is the same as any other episode 💀, but pushed through anyway so the fans could enjoy. This is definitely going to be action episode of the year at the very least. What an animation marvel.
