As Sherry walked in on her 'father' dead, seeing the same sight she saw back then, its possible she believes Shadow is the one who killed her mother as well.

In the LN, Cid and Shadow Garden do wear masks. I think the anime leaves them off for artistic/cosmetic reasons. It is hard to visually differentiate between people if everyone is wearing masks for the audience.

Always a lot of fun to watch GF with the boys. This episode is a personal milestone: I usually don't care for "freaky Friday" plots, but this one is both a lot of fun, a very interesting character study and even has some hidden lore. Really good one.

Notice that Wendy says, "Maybe _I_ should see other people." After all, it's not as if _Robbie_ could find another girl who'd be willing to put up with him. Not without magical interference, or maybe major head trauma on her part. The "50's-themed 1970's diner" is a shout-out to the TV show _Happy Days_ which is the source of many people's impressions and "memories" of the 50's, even though it was actually written and produced in the 70's.

Some cool facts: all the clones were voiced by Lance Bass who was a memember of NSYNC. Also Alex's sister got a line in the show. She was the girl in the audiance who shouted "He was talking to me!" before the slap-fight. Lastly, the splash page you finally got at the end of the intro had a code. Translated it reads... STAN IS NOT WHAT HE SEEMS

In an interview, Alex says that his only regret in making the show is not making it clear that Robbie had no idea about the “hidden message” in the mixtape. Robbie either truly didn’t know it existed or it didn’t exist at all, and was just a figment of Dipper, and Stan’s overactive imagination.

So the Cipher “Happy Now, Ariel?” Is a reference to the creator, Alex Hirsch’s twin sister Ariel, who is like Mabel. Apparently Ariel really wanted Lance Bass (lead singer of *NSYNC) to voice a character. So Alex got Lance to voice the boys in this episode. So the Cipher is a reference to him getting who Ariel wanted. Also, Ariel is the girl who screams “He was talking to me!” at the concert!
