This was the surprise banger of 2022 for me. I was kinda over 65%, was able to pick one of these up and it's one of my favorites now. The copper weight really helped w/ the sound and balance when lifting the board. The accents are such a close match to the weight as well. The badge is blacked out w/ construction paper... truly a custom this one lol. Hope you guys enjoy! 💜

This is the best sounding 910 ME I have heard on YT so far, wow! I want to order the copper plate from GCables for the midnight green 910. Will it improve the sound, and do you have any recommendations, please? Thank you! Edit: I only found GCables selling the copper plates, but looking for more options*

Weight made a big difference in sound IMO. I didn’t do any copper on this last round but I’m about to fulfill SS. There might be extras that I will raffle off.

how much heft does the copper weight add to it?

quite a lot. I haven't put them on a scale, but I'll do it next time I have it apart.

Shouldn't the backplate be magnetic without screws?

Stock backplate is, but as the description notates, this one is custom copper. It’s too heavy to be supported by magnets. This was anticipated by the designer of the board so he provided tapped screw holes on the bottom case.
