The problem is our people, who keep corruption into highest office. Easter Cape, Limpopo, MP and North West are the provinces that keep corrupt ANC in power. No mater what you can say or do, the people of those provinces are plastered, for them to vote is voting for ANC.

Former Presidents Mbeki and Mothlanthe raised concerns previously about wrong things in the ANC and as they join the campaigning now ,they should be saying to voters: we previously raised the following issues with the ANC and here is evidence of progress about what we raised before and we therefore ask you to vote for ANC because of progress made...are they able to say it with straight face to voters?

100% agree with you. And this is the same thing I always argue with ANC members and voters. We cannot focus on 30 years ago. What needs to be is to check the promises/commitments made in 2019, what was achieved (from 2019 till today), what was not achieved and what hindered the party to achieve those promises/ commitments. Yes, we an take COVID'19 into consideration, however, they must also reflect to the relief fund/loan they received.

You come across as an extremely intelligent young man. I salute you!! I am a 74 year old white male South African, so I'm bottom of the food chain. And I never even voted for the Nats during the apartheid years. I always believed that the homeland policy was fraught with problems and unfairness and would never solve anything.

@@lm_b5080 LOL I'm not good with these economics things but I'll try. As a start the banks and JSE listed companies can start investing in our economy instead of hoarding so much money. Mind you, it's almost impossible to get a business loan in SA if you are a black South African. Government has no excuse for why there are 1000s of vacancies in health, education, agriculture, engineering in municipalities etc. They are weakening the state deliberately hence the poor service delivery. I'm a bit careful with this one, we could look at some of our pension money and invest in a way that can stimulate this economy for the benefit of our children. Right now, we are creating a very dark future because we are refusing to invest in the people who will be there in that future.

Thank you once again Dr. Sizwe, I think their campaigning for the ANC damages their reputations because you can see them do mental gymnastics in answering questions because there has not been any material change in the ANC to signify that the issues they raised are being attended to. It's worse with President Mbeki because his last rebuke of the ANC is recent. I find it suspicious also the fact that he said/insinuated that he wouldn't campaign, and then an investigation against him was opened. Now all of a sudden that he is campaigning, there's no more mention about that investigation. I find that very suspicious.

We must be honest Mbeki does not have any "undying" love for ANC. He has always bashed the ANC, openly so. The only reason he came back into politics is to protect his bosses interests particularly land. We know he is totally against the return of land. Now he and his bosses saw the rise of MK and potential of MK, EFF and pro black parties joining forces to fight for land. So the big bosses sent him to make sure ANC wins and ensure that their exploitation continues.

But former President Mbeki questioned the Phala Phala saga and the legitimacy of President Ramaphosa. My question is what promises have been made to him concerning President Ramaphosa for him to come to the rescue of ANC. Nothing has changed concerning the Phala Phala issue. Could it be that should ANC win on May 29, that he has been guaranteed that President Ramaphosa will not be elected as president in parliament? Former President Mbeki is not campaigning for President Mbeki, but for the ANC, this is clear.

Thank you Sizwe and the subscriber's of this channel. I think Thabo Mbeki as an elder of ANC lead government, must try to bring peace in the country. He is always campaigning with violent behavior, anger, not campaigning for ANC as such, but always attacking President Jacob who is giving him heart attack, if you can see his face became unhealthy, always offended and aggressive, if you can Re play many previous clips, always attacking President Jacob Zuma, accusing him of distroying South Africa's Democracy, and painted him with corruption as if corruption is not ongoing in the country, and it is surprising when he talk about crime in the country, what are their plans because we the poor, we are depending on GOD's protection, we don't have body guards, and weapon on our hands. Maybe we must go back to Reconciliation Commission, people are no yet healed after 1994, we don't love one another.

I've been saying to my friends from last year already before MKP, that if all 3 former President can come and campaign for the ANC that would be great. I have also raised that how about Cyril allow Naledi Pandor to be President, like that move will make voters to vote more for the ANC cause we gonna have a strong woman that doesn't have any skeletons, but I guess Mbeki and Kgalema are out cause of their love for the ANC. Remember in the past ANC did not have so much competition and polls saying the might be on the 40% so now the came out to put the ANC not Ramaphosa but the ANC above 50%. Remember Mbeki is not loyal to anyone but to ANC policies

Your self awareness or self identity determines how effectively one applies or uses knowledge acquired...both these former presidents do not believe in themselves...we will never know who they really are....or what they really stand for...

I think since 1994 voters have matured & are now more politically conscious, active & involved than in earlier elections when the ANC leadership would rely for voter support on making vain promises without any commitment to honour them or even recourse. Opposition parties like the Eff &, lately the Mkp have contributed vastly in voter education & consciousness. Black voters, in particular who constitute a huge support base of the ANC have become aware that what they are being promised isn't in persuant of the ideals of this argust organisation & their aspirations. The active/current leadership of the ANC - not the old guard that has now been called into action - is oblivious of this fact & will, most likely, continue to act in office nonchallantly. The ANC cannot hope to renew itself from the top - worn out top so to speak. It has to come from the bottom - the roots. That's where the ANC is rotten. It is the representatives in gvt & ANC political office who must speak out & convince the electorate more by action than political speak. Present day voters aren't gullible anymore. We shall await the results. Hoping there won't be any foul play.

Well what did you think the 'political party funding act' would do to the ANC and it's future campaigns?

Mbeki will never recover from the Polokwane conference 😭 😂 He's not helping the ANC here, he's fighting President Zuma.

The current faces of the the ANC will not get them votes, that is why they need to use the old faces to get them votes.

When tribalism comes at play this is what happens…. They are campaigning against Zuma/MK party because we all know Mbeki is not happy about ANC.
