1999 was a breakthrough for Billy Donovan- they made a nice Sweet 16 run (albeit Harold Arceneaux-aided), but boy did they blow it against Gonzaga.

To be fair, Gonzaga almost beat UConn in the next round, too. Honestly, I think they gave the Huskies a bigger scare than Duke did. And this loss helped the next year's team go on that great run!

+Billy Moody This was back before the SEC was a pussy that fined schools for court/field storming. That rule came back in 04 I believe.
