Dudley and Balrog are a perfect rivalry in street fighter. Dudley doesn't view Balrog as a true boxer but a thug with boxing gloves. Whilst Balrog hates Dudley as he has everything Balrog longed to have as a boxer.

reminds me of Punch Out. I've no reference on Dudley but Balrog could be half the cast with their indiscriminate ways of breaking the rules. Bald Bull's anger, Von Kaiser's temper and Aran Ryan's way of unsportsmanlike conduct. Would Dudley and Balrog be a callback between real sport and showmanship? If you could consider Balrog a showman for his irrational style of being a 'thug with boxing gloves.'

The difference between Dudley and Balrog is that Dudley fights clean and Balrog fights dirty that's why Balrog uses his head as a weapon

They're both just as dirty, but Balrog hits harder and is straight to the point while Dudley relies on multi hit combos and mixup scenarios. How does Dudley fight dirty? I'm sure throwing roses in a boxing match not only would be frowned upon, but illegal, so are low blows and elbows. Balrog fights dirty stomping on shoes, headbutts and low blows as well.

To be honest im kinda glad he wasnt in SFV Having his moveset even more changed like they did in SF4 would have been an injustice to this character Hopefully he will be back in SF6 with a more close play style to what he had in sf3

i'd kind of love to see these two meet up in sf6. i don't exactly want them to add both boxers in season 2 or anything like that, but it would be really interesting to see how their impressions of each other has changed since balrog ditched shadaloo so that Ed didn't have to suffer . maybe rog will understand dudley a bit better, and maybe dudley will feel proven wrong about balrog being a "thug"

I’d say Dudley is more based on Chris Eubank, I’m not sure how well known he is outside of England?!? He’s a black English boxer who’s quite eccentric & camp, he speaks the Queens English, wears Bowler hats and a monocle.

If they would make Balrog's moveset more power boxing and useful like Dudley it would be a fight not so 1 sided like it was. Balrog still is a basic fighting game moveset while Dudley is more invested in as a fighting game boxer.

I've given up on beating this fight, balrog's moves are annoying asf and whenever I fight him his health bar is empty but he is still alive and kicking my ass, plus that rush move he uses is almost unavoidable( for me)
