I was due to fly TG417 from bkk to kul last week but they changed the aircraft from 787 to an old 777. Thai really do like to change their metal at the last minute!

as a Thai airways flyer since I was a toddler (20 yrs), I never had an aircraft swap ever! But apparently, for some people it is a recurring problem.

The wine and sparkling selection was very nice in the lounge. I always love your shower room reviews. Please keep doing them. The Thai uniforms for the flight crew are so pretty. I love your "toast" at 17:02. lol Your city VLOGs are the best. The Pan Am store is so retro. I still have my paper "stock" certificates from Pan AM. Sharing your city tours and "every day" life of you editing your videos is really a nice touch.

The Thai lounge looked great! The Singapore lounge furniture was pretty, the food looked good. It’s interesting seeing annolder plane, the staff was attentive.i always enjoy your reviews!

Great video, Jayden! Thanks for the extensive lounge tour in BKK. Lots of good options depending on your preferences. Sorry about the aircraft swap. That must have been particularly annoying for solo travelers who suddenly now had a seat mate. The service looked outstanding on the flight. Very personable. It’s amazing you got 2 meals on a flight less than 5 hours.

TG will only amount to this, no leading only follow a long way behind. They will never go beyond as they are still stuck in a long gone era of their own.

Another great video by Jayden! not only they are informative, but help us to make great choices on what seats/class/airlines we would like in future. Jayden has definitely saved me money on a different video as the business class between different planes, even with the same airline are vastly different, but at the same price. Keep the videos coming :) (I am very tall 6ft female so even telling us the legroom available is great)

Great video Jayden, I’ve flown Thai a few times before covid and in my opinion it is very underrated, lovely crew, food always amazing and entertainment is pretty good same as the seats

Another great vlog JW Shame of the aircraft change, I'm still yet to fly the A350, mind you the 788 is still a great aircraft, the seats remind me of the similar type with Garuda offer. I'm glad you knew who your neighbour was (the tall freak)🤣 I always liked Thai, very good and you're correct not the same standard as EK or SQ, but still up there. You still make me smile when you pronounce "coat hoooook" 🤣There was a small boo boo with your landing time, FYI I think you used PM when it was AM... You've enticed us to visit Seoul!!

Nice video. Based in BKK and flying nearly every week, I am in the SQ lounge nearly every time. BR is an okay plan B. Skip Turkish. TG gets crowded but their smaller lounge on E pier is nice.

What a coincidence - just got home from TG433 on their 787-9. Seems like the Thai dresses are worn on flights with 6 as the flight number's first digit. I believe Thai and aircraft changes blend well like peanut butter and jelly :)

Ops 😅 a downsize from A350 direct aisle to B787-8 (2-2-2). But I guess their hospitality indeed made up for the change in aircraft type. Thanks for this review as I was recently looking for Thai airways flight too 🤭

For me B787-8 is not easy to take, last time I flew the Ethiopian Airlines from SIN-KUL, on day was operated by B787-9

The EVA Air lounge showers are better. I usually shower there and head to the Silverkris Lounge for food.

8:50 TG already retired all of their 773 (non ER) during COVID time so I think 11:30 flight is operated by 77W

Love it and for the seats TG Royal Silk Class Stelia Solstys B787-9 A350-900 B777-300/ER beat this one a Rockwell Collins Diamond. I wonder if your mum has a star alliance FFQ if she does then it can be used here. For my family Dad has both UA and TG Mum SQ Krisflyer. Some cases TG B787-8 does do regional runs to Taipei HKG and MNL. Singha Beer is Thailand which equals San Miguel beer Philippines and Asahi Beer Japan.

14:00, Really, Emirates used to fly the 5th freedom flight from Bangkok to Sydney? No way, wow. I don't think Emirates will resume the 5th freedom flight and send the Boeing 777-300ER or Airbus A380 from Bangkok to Sydney, it's not happening.
