This is a full look at Thai airways business class flying from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Tokyo Narita airport, including the royal silk business class lounge at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport.

I was sitting in business class Seat 12A. The Airbus A380 provides a wonderful amount of space even though there is a large number of business class seats.
This is a full trip report on Thai Airways featuring ground and airport services, airport lounges, cabin experience, airplane dining, boarding, takeoff and landing.

Perfect..just perfect! I really enjoyed travelling with you. Some 8 years ago i was one of the very fwu trip reporters..and since it became a total movement..with so many errors- I totally appreciate you old school of doing this..beautiful photograpy, quiet cam, no fast forward, no hammering music: just straightforward trip reporting...sooo good. The product looked excellent..do they have all aisle access by now? Food loked delicious. So did the wine list, much better than my previous own expereince on TG. Thank you very much for sharing your experience!

Thank you for the comment and watching homer. Very glad you enjoyed it. All of my longer videos are done in the more calm and relaxing style, any video of mine over 20 minutes will normally be very calm and no hammering music, I save that for the shorter ones. Yes from what I remember all of the seats had aisle access and they were very comfortable, I just love being on the A380 no matter what seat i'm in to be honest. But I picked this route so I could fly the A380 with Thai. The food was very good and they had some great wines, sad I did not try more on the short flight. Hope all is well with you.

As usual, another great video! Looks like the biz class section has a 1-2-1 arrangement. This is so much better than the 2-3-2 in BA's 380 biz class. Particularly the independent access to the aisles.

the foie gras is superb such as the whole menu....I remember flying on that route in First Class in the 90ies brings back so emotional memories thank you again for showing me.....

Very enjoyable video! I've seen many people comment on how massive Suvarnabhumi Airport is. Very specious seat and the service seemed excellent! Did you find the seat to be wide enough in bed mode?

This was a great plane for a 6 hour flight, very comfortable and I really enjoyed it. I found the seat perfectly wide for my body.

Great video. I thought part of the "luxury" of being in a BC or F lounge was close access to the relevant gates, Lol. Looks like you walked nearly a km. I've flown Thai Airways dozens of times, and I kid you not, each and every landing was amazingly smooth, irrespective of the weather.

Another great report James.Like you it took me a while to decide where to sit in the Silk Lounge it's that big,last time I was in LOS :) PS.Are you planning to try out the new QSuite on Qatar from Doha to Heathrow or vise versa?

Thank you for watching and the comment Arthur. Yes the Silk lounge just goes on and on, its massive. I'm hoping to try the Q suites at some point, but I want them to be installed on a few more planes first, so I don't miss it or have an aircraft change.

Nice video! I had the same flight, same aircraft and same seat 😃. Sadly the service is adjusted to Tokyo time so you'll get a lunch at a 08:00 o'clock flight instead of a breakfast (same same but different)

there are several RS lounges around the terminals but the main one is very crowded with limited food and drink options.

Is there buggy ride from Silk Lounge? Also, you could have used SQ lounge at Concourse D, which is much better than Thai Lounge!!

I think you can request it, or it might be first class passengers only. I did think about the SQ, but in the end just stayed where I was.

When I Travel The World I see. This December I will travel from PEK - BKK - DXB, super excited since my first time on Thai Business class. But again, my departure gate is at Concourse C, while SQ lounge is at Concourse D, and Eva Lounge at Concourse F. Is that a long distance to walk for? How long 15 minutes? And what meal do you suggest me to order before my flights? I have like 4 segments in total with Thai!!

I did visit the EVA lounge in BKK a few months ago, and to be honest it was much better than the SQ lounge and TG lounge. The food and showers in the EVA lounge were great, and the food selection very good.

Is EVA air lounge really far away from Concourse C? How long is the walk? SQ just recently refurbished their lounge at BKK, and is there any blockade stuff inside BKK terminal? Because in Seoul, INternational carriers use different terminal than Asiana itself.....

I went to Thai airways A330 PER to BKK then BKK to BAN next BAN to BKK last BKK to PER Perth and Bangladesh is my home 5 hours to Bangkok 2 hours to Bangladesh 2hours to Bangkok 5hours to Perth

I love flying Thai Business Class, but the product is starting to look dated and shabby. Here’s hopes that Thai survives their COVID and financial problems.
