Very nice video; you and your sister are very personable (and very attractive, smart and well-spoken). You both are also very funny, quite charming and speak very good English. I don't know about now, but decades ago, when I lived in Thailand for quite some years (business), knowing as much about Thai culture as I could, and always wanting to learn more, and learning to read and write Thai made a huge difference in my interactions with Thai people, even in Bangkok, but especially outside the metro area. That takes time. The culture (and attitudes) are more different than most foreign men think. Those traveling to Thailand looking for an instant connection to a life partner are the ones who get in serious, almost guaranteed trouble. IMO, having some serious knowledge of Thai culture, an ear to really listen to the other person and a real sense of humor are huge assets necessary to meet the right sort of person. Another problem that should be addressed in establishing a 'permanent' relationship is where you're going to be living. Many Thai women find they don't like life in the farangs country (for good reasons for them; food, language, interactions, life philosophy, climate, etc.) and they will miss life in Thailand very much (whether or not they are poor or very wealthy) and will want to go back. It can be very hard for some Thai women to enjoy life separated from Thailand, though some have no problem. The reverse is also true in some cases, Thai women who've lived outside Thailand for many year feel they're forgetting their native language (from their point of view anyway) and acclimate to colder climates, and when visiting Thailand years later find they can no longer bear the heat and humidity, and can't wait to leave (after visiting relatives, etc.).

I like your channel. I just found it today. I'm happy you are showing the opinions of regular educated Thai women. I haven't been able to find many women there that were as sensible as you during my travels there. I visit at least once a year and enjoy meeting new people. There are not many channels on YT that are explaining regular dating in Thailand.

Very mature and restrained responses to some Farangs who don't mince their words. Most traditional Thai people would have gotten angry at those remarks. 😅Like I said in one video, the biggest threat to the image and reputation of Thai women is the promotion of Thai women like they are angels by websites, videos, dating apps etc. This leads many clueless Farang to seek "serious" relationships while they are on a holiday. A recipe for disaster.

I think a lot of the negative comments are from guys dating the wrong type of women or dating women that are beyond them (too pretty or too young).

I grew up in the states. best thing about being asian is when I visit SE Asia, I dress plain and I don't get looked at as money source. some of my fellow americans can probably not walk around with jewelry or sport fancy clothes, and even some of my less modest friends like to flaunt their money. if you wanna play, you made your bed stop complaining.

The comments you were reading about Thais sending money to their parents are from guys that do not understand Thai Culture. I have been married to my Thai wife for 36 years, we live in the U.S. She still sends money to her father after all these years. We went to Thailand earlier this year for a 3 month stay. We visited with her dad 3 or 4 times and every time before we left she handed him money. That is just the way it is. Our son married a Thai women back in September, he is now waiting on her Visa work to be completed so she can immigrate to the U.S. Keep up the good work Ying.

Please do not listen to these women. Most Thai women are not shallow or entitled like this. Most Thai women are kind and amazing, and do not say things like "Of course it's a plus when he gives me money" or "everybody wants money". Most Thai women's happiness does not depend on money. However, if you want an amazing Thai woman, you need to learn Thai. Most Thai women who speak English are already westernized and are not traditional Thai women.
