my country is also coconut producing but the coconut plantations are never associated with so much water in those canals, it is all on dry flat lands close to the seashore or higher up in the hills. i am just curious about those canals, useful for transportation of the coconuts but expensive to construct and maintain.

Its give water cuz in hot air water is a must…when its wont rain… And for transportation too!…😮 Most coconut farm in Thailand are like this…😮 And they use selective breeding…if its not taste good they cut down and replace!…😂

อยากทำสวนมะพร้าวแบบนี้จัง ทำสวนมะพร้าวปลูกเสร็จแล้วก็สบาย ไม่ต้องดูแลอะไรมากมายเหมือนไม้ผลชนิดอื่น ในร่องสวนก็เลี้ยงปลาเสริมรายได้อีกต่างหาก

Nah this is in a tropical region (mostly likely Thailand) which means the water table isn’t that deep to get to, once you hit the water table it’ll just seep up.

This is Vietnam. Water comes in through network of hand digging canals before they have any kind of diggers. Canals connect to the river for water in and out.

A desi coconut tree can take 5 years but now a days some veriety of hybrid coconut trees giving coconuts in just three years 🙂

Lol....the water is there for irrigation in the first stages and as the coconut mature it helps to translate into a coconut with good water content because it has easy access o water from the ground to draw
