Thaipusam 2024 Batu Caves - Sunrise Sessions
This Thaipusam 2024 Batu Caves video was taken at 6 AM the morning of 25th January at the main entrance of the temple and also at the Sungai Batu River area where many of the devotees start their vows.
The Thaipusam video was also taken using my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone as I have previously used my DSLR and Mirrorless cameras for the festival. This time around, I wanted to test the capabilities of the smartphone and it turned out quite good for the morning Thaipusam videos.
As this is part one of my two part series, I decided to call this the sunrise sessions because the videos were taken just before sunrise at Batu Caves in Selangor. My objective is to show the realism of Thaipusam 2024 to views, as I focus on multiple variations of the festival, not just the dramatic videos. This will give viewers a better understanding of what goes on during the festival here in Batu Caves.
