It’s amazing to hear them talk of their present queen, and Her Majesty still being our very present queen many decades later!

She truly was a beauty, some of the fashions of the twenties and thirties made women unattractive, especially with the makeup and headgear but Margaret looked incredibly beautiful despite all that , her personality is electric, her mannerisms, speech and demeanor superb and what I particularly like is the fact that she answers the questions directly and briefly, she doesn't try to fill her answers with justifications and fillers, she's not intimidated by interviewers whatsoever , a real Duchess !

I am fascinated with Lady Margaret. What a fabulous woman of her day.

She carries herself very well I like the way she answered and the way she sees life she put it all in place bad and good 🙂

She was a representative of an elegance and of a style that just doesnt exist any more. Like stately Cunard Liners they sailed the ocean of society and public opinion without flinching, becoming more fabulous with the advancing years.j

She never lost her class. Seems We have a new admiration of this time back when the world made more sense. All of the men & women I knew that lived in this era are gone now and the world misses many of them.

Wow! What a lady! I could feel her pain when she addressed the “dumb bunny”. I believe we all have experienced our own “dumb bunnies”, eh?

My God, what a beauty, so androgynous and elegant

Margaret had an innate poise, a certain restraint which is so uncommon these days. Her beauty never faded. I do think she has been wrongly questioned and judged.

Interestingly her daughter frances became the duchess of rutland, I always wondered what her children thought of her. The Duchess of Argyll certainly was interesting person and I love hearing from people talk about the years before WW2 it seemed like a different world and after WW2 life changed, which you often hear ppl say.

She had a colourful past and very poor taste in men

Lady / Duchess of Argyll became a nymphomaniac apparently after her 40 foot fall in the elevator. I really do not know how she survived that with minimal injuries, mainly to her hands as she had grabbed on to the cables.

I have always wondered if the photographs her husband found in the Duchess's locked draw, were used as evidence in the divorce case in court. When he discovered those photos and realised by seeing the 3 rows of her pearl necklace that it definitly was his wife, he immediately began divorce proceedings the following day. I cannot blame him, he must have been outraged. Apparently there were 88 different sexual partners in those photos.

Hilarious. Such mid-20th madness.

Her eyes show defeat of life.

Now is that interviewer wearing a sea-through blouse with a white bra ?? just asking...

No doubt, she had all those lovers.

I doubt she did 88 guys; maybe a few.

Sorry but I can't understand the interviewers strong American accent, and the strong Scots accent of the Duchess. 😆
