this doc has reinvigorated my love for Bon Jovi, I was a huge fan as a teen, like we all were, but strayed in the past few years with life going on....now it has renewed my love for them and I've been going down the YT hole of watching concerts/interviews/documentaries, anything I can find on them. I feel like a teen again and wish we could go back to this amazing era!! Thank you.

Jon's responsible for Richie not returning. I have a feeling he's holding a grudge and being stubborn. They need to get Richie back and make one final HARD ROCK album.
@JohnHughes-Ottawa

Jon gave Richie the chance to come back. He chose not to come back. Jon hasn't talked to Richie in years. All this talk is just creating hype and putting more money in their pockets by giving them more attention....Jon is the Boss... my guess is Richie has an issue with that. And besides Phil X is doing a fantastic job... don't mess with success!! It's obviously not about the money. They're both mega rich....they all are...
@44CJW

@JohnHughes-Ottawa Nope Bon Jovi has not sounded like Bon Jovi in years. Phil X is nothing but a hired gun. The band lacks the magic it once was. However, the documentary does look good.

2:05 is a heartbreaking moment. Jon won't be singing any of Bon Jovis hit songs live ever again. And he knows it too. The new tour for Legendary is only going to be possible by the 5 other new members all backing Jon's vocals, heavily backing too. Ironically, Jon was very vocal about the safe & effective & all his fans listened. And many had adverse effects.. Maybe it's karma that his prized possession.. his vocals are effected too. We know it attacks the immune and his immune concentrates on his vocal now.. and its not working out. A sad ending to not go out on a high.. Its not about "quitting" Jon, it's knowing when something is finished. 💔❤️💔❤️💔❤️🌊♾️♓️

Saw it last night. A good one, with the red dread being Jons voice issues...feel sorry for the guy, and I feel sorry for Richie as well...I can se he still uses alkohol og watever, he face all red and swollen...And he dont want to come back, I think its all about that he dont want to hurt the guys one more time by dont show up. Funny thing here is that Jon hired three guys to cover Richie, so he was tryly a huge part...We se also from day one, that drive of Jon, if he did not do all that he did for him and the rest of the band, it would have been the end...he focus and determination got them that big...

What JBJ conveniently leaves out is that his uncle part owned the Power Station studio. And his uncle produced his first song and album. He also leaves out that both Richie AND Jon WROTE the HITS. And the record label said if Slippery didn't produce anything, they were OUT. So they brought in a song writer "DOCTOR" to help with 3 or 4 songs to help bring out the power ballad angle and arrangement of the songs. He produced and co wrote abd arranged Living.. and Medicine.. and a few others. Without Richie doing hos guitar and harmony for Jon, no way would they have made it. Jon also doesn't admit that ONLY HE WAS SIGNED to the label.. and the "band" were HIRED MUSICIANS. Jon also doesn't tell you he was meticulous in his premeditated steps to getting it right. He sat for hours thinking of ways to make publicity and give what the fans wanted.. hiding his marriage, staying faithful.. nope. I haven't watched it but Jon thinks he's a Legend. And he did make a "fluff piece" and said he gave "ckmplete creative control" no. He didn't and he lies throughout. The proof is everywhere. Richie is right and should've left a few albums earlier. Right after Keep the Faith. I met them and spent time with Jon all week. Staying in the same Hotel. I saw a lot. Richie was not a happy guy, very sad, withdrawn and down. But Jon was the bad boy and i have proof. I was a fan from age 10 and met at age 18 when he had 2 kids already (i didn't know til he said it onstage) but he still walked up to me and asked me to go to a more quiet party. I went. He's a great guy one on one alone. But still bossy to others..gorgeous as.. and i dont regret the times we met up. Great memories❤..but he's a business man first and foremost. Money changed the guy..

What John doesn’t get about Richie is there is no Beatles without John or Paul. When one leaves, the whole suffers. There will never be any real Bon Jovi without Richie. Get him back for one more record and hopefully tour. Phil is okay but he is in no way the anchor that Richie was /is. If you don’t at least try…..

I watched the documentary, it's ok. Basically, it's just JBJ feeding his ego and revising history. When Nirvana broke in 1991 and pushed hair bands to the bottom, JBJ said " It's just a fad it will fade" - 😂 Bon Jovi won't even be played in five years.

Watched it and didn't like it....though it was a story of Bon Jovi it was more a story of Jon Bon Jovi and him feeling sorry for himself....I used to be be a BJ fan back in the day up until "Keep The Faith" the band that got me through school but they went one way,... I went the other (west coast way) because names like GNR and the Nirvana made the news ...they and their music became more interesting than Bon Jovi. I especially didn't like it back in the day when they got rid of AJS and suddenly HM step in as the studio bassist that was always around (Metallica learned from them how to get rid of Jason). AJS recorder their best work with them (RIP). I still like their best albums "New Jersey, Slippery When Wet" and :"Keep The Faith"....in 40 years they haven't changed the order

Someone very close to "productions" stated it was a 2 part series stretched out to 4 bc Jon is very money 💰 hungry.. He's worth 400 mil but split that over to 4 kids and whatever..apparently it isn't enough for him..sad to see it end like that for them. I totally got over my crush after I met him...several times unexpectedly.
