Is it worth watching?

I thought it was pretty fun to watch.. it’s about group of friends and their love lives, breakups.. all my favorite actors and actresses were in that movie so I enjoyed watching it. You should watch “Heeramandi” it was great!! And “ Evil” is very interesting to watch

Lol. I don't understand when other countries have to have a completely different title instead of using its direct translation (if it makes sense in the translated language). As an American, it drives me nuts that the English title is not the same. At least in concept this one isn't so bad. I've seen worse title changes. But still... It's hilarious. I will say "Thank you, Next" captures the mood in a very sassy way. Sometimes that's good marketing

@@SL-lz9jr When the project was first announced in Turkey, everyone was pointing out the difference between the English translation and the original title. The literal translation of “Kimler Geldi Kimler Geçti” is “Who’s come who’s passed” It’s a phrase used commonly by Turkish people to reminisce about their past lovers.The original Turkish name has a melancholy to is whereas the English translation is like you mentioned more sassy. I understand there might not be a phrase that is equivalent to this phrase in English but as a Turkish person the meaning shift of the translation is very funny to me.

​@@SL-lz9jr believe me, the rest of us are annoyed to. I'm German and here they either change the name or add something descriptive, even if it's unnecessary. For example the first Captain America movie kept the name "Captain America: The First Avenger" in Germany, but the second movie "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" was somehow titled "The Return of the First Avenger". Yes, in English, even though the film was dubbed into German. This caused those of us who watch movies (and thanks to streaming services now also TV shows) in their OV version to be completely muddled when it comes to that 2nd movie. I know it's the Wintersoldier, but when they show it on TV I never know what movie it is 😅 Now, usually when they change a movie name they either use the German equivalent or like in the case of this Turkish show use an entirely different name. Now for the titles that get descriptors, am example is the TV show "Without a Trace". In Germany the title is "Without a Trace - Spurlos verschwunden" so they added "vanished without a trace" in German, probably so non-English speakers could know what the show is about. Sometimes they don't do anything at all though 🤷 The bad or unnecessary translations usually get flag online from people too. Like the decision to call the 2nd Cap movie "The Return of the First Avenger" got lots of eye rolls.
