Thank you so much for this video, it's a good compilation of German inventions. There are also some German inventions about free energy and antigravitation by Hans Coler and Viktor Schauberger. Maybe you find the patents, this would be a video generating millions of likes, because there are only few about it. Or Schumann inventions.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "Blue Jeans" redirects here. For other uses, see Blue Jeans (disambiguation) and Jeans (disambiguation). A pair of jeans Microscopic image of faded fabric Jeans are a type of pants or trousers made from denim or dungaree cloth. Often the term "jeans" refers to a particular style of trousers, called "blue jeans", with the addition of copper pocket rivets added by Jacob W. Davis in 1871[1] and patented by Davis and Levi Strauss on May 20, 1873. Prior to the patent, the term "blue jeans" had been long in use for various garments (including trousers, overalls, and coats), constructed from blue-colored denim.[2] 🤔

There are so many legends about the christmas tree nobody knows which one (if any) is true, but the one I'd like to believe in is that it dates back to the "Jul Log", "Jul" meaning midwinter, and log meaning, well: A log. Germanic tribes used to fell a tree and light it in a ditch in their long-stretched assembly hall to celebrate the new rising of the sun, and that customs was christianized, skipping the fire and instead decorating the tree to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the savior, who, according to other myths, is no one else than the ancient Sun God himself. I'm an atheist, so I don't care about what someone else might believe or not, but Germanic mythology abounds with wonderful stories that unfortunately became linked to the Nazis, so many people are reading them but don't publicly admit that they do. And what they forgot in that video, the most revolutionizing invention of the last century: The MP3. Invented by Karlheinz Brandenburg, Ernst Eberlein, Heinz Gerhäuser, Bernhard Grill, Jürgen Herre and Harald Popp (all of Fraunhofer Society), and others, released in December 1991 and standardized as ISO/IEC 13818-3:1998 in April 1998. It changed the way we listen to music forever.

No Jul = Christmas 🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻 but Jul that is an old danish 🇩🇰 word for Christmas in English but Jul is the same thing you eat a lot of fat meat 🥩🍖🍗🥓🌭 so you can hold against extreme heard and cold winter and also drink a lot of alcohol as well as beer 🍺, cider 🍺, wine 🍷 and mead drinks 🍺 exactly for the same reason so your body can keep against the extreme weather condition during the winter 🥶❄️ Jul by The Vikings 🪖🧌🧝🏻‍♂️🧝🏻🧝🏻‍♀️🧙🏻‍♂️🧙🏻‍♂️🧙🏻‍♀️🫅🏻🤴🏻👸🏻, by the way dude my friend / my friends 😉😄😁😊😎🤜🏻🤛🏻👍🏻🤘🏻🍺🍺🍺🍺🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻

@@jonathanthomsen3111 Ah, yes, thanks for your real "picturesque" comment, especially for the meat emojis, you rarely see them. And, btw, I said "Jul" is a Germanic word, and Danish is a Germanic language, and I didn't say it meant Christmas, but midwinter, or winter solstice, which I didn't say because it's never on Dec24 but a little bit earlier. In 2024, it will be Sat, Dec21, 10:19 AM CET.

@@jonathanthomsen3111 You have a Christmas Calendar TV series? How crazy is that? That's amazing! Don't think something like that exists in Germany. Maybe on a channel I don't watch, I don't know. Yes, we also have the Adventszeit, ending with Dec24, and with Christmas Eve and the two holidays it's the same. We don't say "Christmas Calendar" in German, but "Adventskalender" because it runs through the "Adventszeit", so that's a mistake I sometimes make when writing in English, "Advent Calendar", and nobody understands what I mean. Best Adventskalender I ever had was the Bierkalender, containing 24 small bottles of different types of beer from different breweries. Glass bottles, so that thing was heavy! Didn't hang it on the wall but put it on a shelf.
