Why reacting on video of concert if you close eyers
@PossessedbyPhoenix2 күн бұрын
As for why he was arrested and why so many people dislike him, well this video didn't include the BEFORE and AFTER of his fiancee after he beat her bloody... "An account taken from a Caesars Palace security guard stated that Moses came to the desk and asked for a key to her room. The security guard observed blood on Moses, who cried when asked if she was OK. Moses explained she did not feel safe going back to the room, and she was taken with her children to a security office. Once there, Jones’ youngest child asked security, “Can you call the cops?” When interviewed by police, Moses was asked if Jones had gotten physical with her, to which she responded, “Ummm not too physical but a little bit yeah.” According to the report, police observed “blood all over Moses’ clothing and a bump with dried up blood on the lower part of her lip.” When asked about her bloody lip, Moses stated that her lips get dry. The police report described Moses as “scared to even talk about Jonathan.” When police entered the hotel room with Moses to observe where the altercation took place, they found blood on the bed sheets and shoes strewn about." That and despite his crazy record, his constant failed drug test made him a cheater in the eyes of many, and also fans felt that some of the victories were robberies like that Reyes fight at the end there, where many felt the opponent won but the judges gave the decision to Jones to preserve his invincible aura since he made the UFC more money

For the context, in relation to the picture with the 10€ bill for an ambulance ride: In US that can cost you 4000$, that's why (many?) americans would try to avoid calling an ambulance even it's necessary. The health costs for some standards are very insane.

Nowadays where many of the younger generation is looking down most of time while walking because of the smartphone, it's actually not a bad idea to have those memorials on the ground, where it's in their sighting field, but if they are noticing it, that's an other question/story.

Real, you just listened to "The Master" on guitar. Many revered guitarists - Eric Clapton, Prince, Steve Howe (Yes) and others, were asked what is it like to be the greatest guitarist in the world? They all replied "I don't know, you would have to ask Mark Knopfler". Here is your proof.

The reason they got the footage of the first crash was the people filming it were two French brothers filming a documentary about a rookie firefighter. The company they were with was responding to a gas leak and were just in the right place at the right time. They were the first ones to respond that day but thankfully survived

And then you realize you just have seen the VERY best live performance ever in history, with Terry WIlliams going absolutely beserk on the drums and the ALL TIME GREATEST guitarist Mark Knopfler completely haywire on the guitar, like he's doing some groceries on a Saterday with all the time in the world, that's just insanity. Don't Ever forget that name! Mark Knopfler. I can write you ten pages based on the performance alone why he is by far the best ever, ever.

I always thought these memorial stones in gold are an amazing idea. It keeps the memory of the victims alive and brings them into your normal day/ life. I always stop to read them and take a moment to pay them my respect. It is so sad that some people don’t understand how meaningful they are and how much they do for everyone.

I was a little kid and seeing it on TV compounded a lot of trauma and anxiety I already had. Thinking about the people in the planes, people trapped in the building, and the firefighters who went in knowing they would never come back is horrible. I also mourn for the thousands of lives taken in Iraq and Afghanistan in the wars that came after, in the name of blind vengeance of our country. Just a horrible thing all around. :(

I was in 4th grade in school when this happened. They had us watch the news footage of it and I remember when the second tower was hit and then the pentagon. I also remember seeing footage of people jumping from the towers which was heartbreaking. After the collapse of the towers, the teacher turned the Tv's off. I remember I was shocked they had us even watch that and I remember I felt anxious because I thought terrorists were going to bomb the whole country.

I think these stumbling stones are enormously important and I am extremely grateful to the initiator for bringing them into being! Personally, I bend down at each stone to read the data and pause briefly to honor the memory of these victims. I think it's a great idea: you show humility, symbolically "bow down" to the victims and pay them respect. I don't know anyone who would deliberately step on these stones, quite the opposite... It is living history and keeps the memory of our dark past alive - and admonishes us that we are responsible for never allowing such atrocities to happen again!
@RustyDust10111 күн бұрын
As a German I understand and accept the controversy about the stones on the ground and the decision of the city of Munich to change their placement. However, I do not agree with that sentiment. Not out of disrespect to the victims; definitely not, quite the opposite. I believe that anyone who has ever heard about this memorial culture will immediately see and recognize these stones as they all are of a different texture and color from the surrounding stones. They are also literally a tiny bit raised. Not really to trip or stumble over; just enough for the eye to notice them. With the noticing of them comes a subconscious recognition of their significance. Yes, maybe someone who is completely devoid of empathy will intentionally step on them, to besmirch the memory of the victims. But would those individuals also not besmirch a plaque on a wall commemorating victims? Possibly. But the acceptance from such individuals who have no empathy or even express hatred toward the victims won't be changed in their mindset by a plaque NOR a stone on the ground. Those aren't the proper recipients of these stones anyway in my opinion. These non-empathetic or hateful individuals are already a lost cause anyway. They won't be reached by plaque nor stone; just by constructive conversation and education, and a LOT of convincing. All others who have heard about these memorials automatically slow down, often bend down, and bow their heads to read the inscription. This also automatically makes them take a more commemorative, reflective, humble body posture quite in contrast to looking up at a plaque mounted at eye-height or even above on a wall. Humans tend to scan ahead as they walk to detect anything out of the ordinary on the ground that could, potentially, require them to take a step aside, or at least requires their attention. Walls however are always recognized as impassable even out of the corner of our eye, thus are tuned out of our direct perception as not specifically noteworthy. We know, from a very young age, that walls are impassable, that we can't walk through them, so we don't pay them specific attention. Stones of a special kind on the ground, different, separate, special, in our view, requires our brains to engage and think about them: is it something threatening? Or a hindrance? It stands out, isn't normal background, requires attention. As such these stones in the ground have a much greater attention grabbing potential than a plaque on a wall. No one I know would willingly step on them. Anyone with empathy who steps on them out of carelessness often takes a step back, to reflect on this action. I've personally seen a person who stepped on a small group of them set together, notice what they did. They pulled out a handkerchief to bend down, get on their knees, and clean them after their carelessness. They humbled themselves to pay respect to the memorial. This has a much greater impact than a plaque on a wall in my opinion. This is history, past, yes, but still remembered. To remind us to never allow it again. Within everyday life, not in a museum, out of sight, out of mind. But existing in life. Regularly. Not a constant reminder so as to become unnoticable due to boredom, nor an eyesore, but with eye-catching properties nonetheless.
