Wow! Is it ever quiet inside the 850J under full power! It's also great to see Clint helping Matt out, too! I will say one thing, Clint is a man of his word and more! He not only makes it right, but goes above and beyond. If he wasn't 8 hours away, and I needed heavy equipment - I'd buy from him! Good Job Clint - THANK YOU! So I watched C&C's video when Clint dropped off the 850J and I said to myself, that dozer is not going back to C&C. This morning I watched C&C's video on installing the ripper. Lol I knew it wasn't going back to C&C. I also watched the rebuild of that dozer, you have a great machine there! Great video Michael.

One thing about that new one is its nice and quiet in that cab and cold or hot depending on which one you want but im still old school. The first bigger dozer i ever ran was a 750 b and it was a good machine for its size

It's a pleasure to watch Jerry operate the dozer. It was impressive seeing the control he had pushing the tree out of the way, but when he was side by side with the new dozer, it was very apparent that Jerry was leaving a super smooth and level surface, where as the new dozer was trying to create motocross whoops, or maybe even getting ready to build a fairground rollercoaster. I am thinking that once you lose control of your grade, it gets harder and harder to get it back again. Whereas Jerry has that finesses right from the first push which makes easy to maintain the grade. The bottom line is that seeing both operators reminds you that operating a dozer is definitely not as easy as Jerry makes it look.

Looks like somebody is tooling up to focus on lake/pond building. If you need to spend some more check-out time on that rebuilt 850, feel free to haul it down to middle Tennessee……I have a very “videogenic” pond you can practice on. Very similar to the one you, Jerry and Chris recently re-worked …..lots of good mud pushing to do…..straight out the spillway.

I ran a new 850B back in the day with less than 200 hours, quite a beast. My main ride was Case 1150 B,C,D,E's which had 6 way hydraulic blades. Your 850B blade is manual adjustment, 850J has hydraulic which could be the topic of interest, blade pitch forward or back makes quite a difference. Mrs. Dirt perfect wants a new camper, might have Clint freshen up the 850B engine...😎

Anyway you dig it, your 850B is a workhorse. But of course, any machine you have Jerry running is a workhorse….lol. The 850J probably just needs some heavy worked hours on it to get it broke in. Awesome video Mike. Looks like Matt is going to have a nice area for growth. I think it will definitely going to increase the property value. 🇺🇸

That’s gonna be a really nice valley when you are all finished!! It would be the oddest thing if you get all the channel filled in and the equipments gone. Then a big rain comes through and you have a nice small pond sitting in there that’s maybe 5 ft deep and small, but quaint!! Hahaha. I know that isn’t gonna happen, but I think I would laugh uncontrollably!!! Haha. NYA Millennial and family will have a nice safe place to explore. Before,,,,,,, it wasn’t exactly a safe place to be at all!! Sinkholes, hidden drop offs, deep mud holes, some water held, weeds, weeds, weeds,,,, ticks, ticks, ticks!!! Haha. This is one project that I can’t wait to see finished, but I don’t want the videos to be done either!! It’s just very interesting. Thumbs up! Heyyyy Mike!! If the books say you can do it,,,, you may do pretty well on the Dozer. 900 hours isn’t much past really having it broken in and with at least 12,000 more available to ya if it lasts like ole Trusty, then it will be paid off long before you are finished with the dozer. Then you REALLY make the money! I suspect it has a pretty hefty price tag though. I know a used Agricultural use tractor doesn’t drop a whole h*ll of a lot in the first 1000 hours these days. When they cost well over a quarter million dollars CAD the used ones hold their value. If a guy can save $30,000 for those, you are laughing!! I don’t know how the pricing goes on a Dozer though. I’m thinking you wouldn’t be talking too much on camera about buying it if there isn’t a deal already hashed out that you like as long as this dozer turns out to be reliable!! I sure hope you gave NYA M a bit of time on it just for a feel. It’s his place you are working on. He can try it for a couple of pushes at least,,,,,,. What a gift for Gerry!!! Even if he insists on the older 850, he will be in a cab and out of the weather! His ears and hearing will love you for it as well!! Haha. Sorry, I get a little chatty,,,,,,. Later fellas!!
