When my children were "small" we always had Turkey for Christmas and Cornish hens for Christmas. The Cornish hens were always celebrated by the children, because they each had their own...and they enjoyed choosing their own "stuffing" for their own tastes/bird. Just lovely memories...my favorite stuffing? Pears and pecans, sauteed in butter...ummm!

I love that you put everything on nice dishes. So many people spend time cooking and place it on paper or plastic. Presentation matters so much. I was alone for the holiday and I made a nice meal anyway. I agree. It's about celebrating the season and enjoying a wonderful meal. God Bless you both too!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Mr. Tuck!!!🦃 Your dinner looks like a feast!! It's just me and my son (he's 31) for my meal. Ours will be supper. I'm fixing a whole chicken baked, cornbread dressing, mashed taters, mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, green beans, jellied cranberries like yours, and a pumpkin pie I bought at the bakery. Since it's just me and Josh I just fixed our favorite food at Thanksgiving. Neither one of us really like turkey meat, so we'd rather have chicken. Enjoyed seeing your dinner. I know it's delicious!!! Love you MaeMae and Mr. Tuck!!!
