On NPR today, an Arab said he doesn't need to tolerate people he doesn't like in America....but then he said he doesn't understand why he feels so much hate from others recently while living 3 decades in the U.S. Yeah. People are tired of hypocrites & weird white guilt is AND SHOULD start disappearing....like now. Nobody likes stanky Arabs....or putting up with their bullshit, white or any other culture. Things are changing, people know diversity is a strength only when EVERYBODY and their momma stops trying to move into white neighborhoods and fleeing their own, and diversity is us all living in the same state or country...not necessarily on the same block.

For sure! My personal thoughts about her is she is carrying a heavy load of pain with her. Someone or something has hurt her severely which caused her a tremendous amount of pain. She has had a lot of time to learn how to express her pain as coming across as intimidating, or people just avoiding her to not have to deal with her bullsh*t. She is an angry bitch! I particularly appreciated thè last chick. She is intelligent but has been fed bad information. I like the way she made sure to think things through and also that she was finished with what she was saying. Most people (including myself) have a difficult time accepting and admitting that they're wrong..

There are a lot of people in your school who will call you a Nazi for your comments here alone if they ever see it. This is how people on the right are framed. It's easy to associate someone you disagree with with the worst, and most fringe elements of their side rather than engage with their ideas. Who knows, maybe their minds can be changed. But you will never know if you just shut them down, and not listen. You showed a lot of bravery sitting down to chat with Steven.

Maybe see what they think about what you said for them. Amazing how the more white Americans acknowledge and support people, the more they are villainized, where others would completely wipe out all dissent and still do, they don't get the problems that free America has where you can openly speak your mind and not suffer at the hands of the government. I sure wish that Steven could come to the University of Hawaii: Manoa. I'd definitely go see it. Sure love how, with all these Change my Mind segments, most people always confuse the topic with something else. Take this episode for example. Most people don't inherently have an issue with the holiday, because that is the topic. The holiday. They always lump other things into the topic. People need to learn how to read more properly. The statement "Thanksgiving isn't racist" is very straight to the point. This is why students are doing worse when it comes to writing papers in school and start talking about things that aren't about the topic.

That's just it. Everything is an issue now. This whole "I'm the center of the universe and my opinion is more valid than yours" shit is out of control. I'm not necessarily talking about this 'issue' but just in general. The only people who have a right to scream it's racism and/or have an issue with this, is Native Americans and while I don't have an enormous amount of experience with them (I do know some) I've never heard of this being something they speak out against.

@@jortantheman8258 Abortion is legal. For a killing to count as murder, it has to be illegal. Murder is the premeditated and unlawful killing of person by another person. And taking someone's life is not inherently wrong. For example, you can kill in self defense. And if you agree with that, and you also support the death penalty, you can't also say that abortion is wrong because it is taking someone's life. Also worth noting is that the Bible doesn't mention abortion. In fact, plenty of verses in the Bible indicate that God doesn't care much about children or even women. For example, one verse says "See, the day of the Lord is coming - a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger. . . . I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty. . . . Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives violated."

@SmashStomp Inc What's worse is that they complain history is "white-washed" when pretty much everyone in America graduates high school with the idea that conquest and slavery and genocide were "white things." One of the most transformative experiences of my life was taking a World Studies course in 9th grade, and learning about the atrocities of Mao Tse Tung, Imperial Japan, etc. Even though the teacher literally said on the first day 'The Europeans were evil, they were like a disease' (though in fairness he really meant 'Europeans', not white people), nothing in my life has been a better weapon against SJWs than what I learned from that class.

@79ninzombie This is something I've thought vaguely about, I like the simplicity of the way you put it. So much is taken out of context of the times, and looked at with our current perspectives and ideals instead evaluating and understanding why things were done a certain way at any given point in time. Most of us know only the surface layer of many issues. Not sure if this is exactly linked, but I've been reflecting on how little i learned in my 'history/government' classes.. pretty much nothing of use. Who is George Washington? I don't really know.. beyond his name and he's the first president. Paul Revere? He put 1 or 2 lanterns in a window.. can't even remember if it's 1 or 2. Thanksgiving? Yah, be thankful and the cheesy pictures we're showed in grade school. Watered down history. There's reasons why things happened the way they did, and (in my opinion) people aren't stopping to understand those and the surrounding issues. It can be overwhelming, it's a lot to unpack, but people aren't critically evaluating the circumstances. I tend to get off on tangents, hope it makes sense what I'm getting at and how I think it links to your comment. Happy Thanksgiving!

I think people just like feeling righteous. The problem with that is? There is no righteous men or women. Without Christ or with Christ. No one can be perfect because of how fallen this society has become. Thats why God gave us an out, he gave us the decision of eternal life just based on faith. Because of how much lies and misinformation there is in the world. Everyone wants to mislead everyone else. Even some Christians! Specifically other religions, ideologists, and science are the worst offenders. The thing is? Without God and without the holy spirit given to us from Christ. We are much more easily mislead. Because there will always be a Christ shapes hole in our hearts and people will try to fill that hole with anything they can and, only one thing fits. So they will continue to spiral downward into either nihilism, radicalism, etc etc. So all in all, you can’t blame these kids. They just actually think they are doing the right thing and that they are the righteous ones. All because of these schools that brainwash these kids. All because their parents aren’t in their lives enough because of both of them working now. Their parents also being raised by the school and establishment.

I don't think that there is a difference between the Thanksgiving of old and the Thanksgiving of today. Is fundamentalist Christianity much better? For example, there's a verse in the Bible where God says "See, the day of the Lord is coming - a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger. . . . I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty. . . . Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives violated." Note there that God is basically condoning killing innocent children and raping the wives of men as a punishment for being arrogant.

Just started watching. I hope he points out the reason the Pilgrims nearly starved to death is because they initially set up a communist style settlement, in which all goods produced would be evenly divided among everyone. The result was many people opted no to work, and those who did eventually stopped working as they felt taken advantage of. Since production came to a near halt, there wasn't enough goods and provisions to get through the winter. Fortunately, the local tribes were friendly, and took pity on the Pilgrims, and sparing what they could, managed to keep the colony from starving to death. When spring came around, the governor announced they would abandon the sharing BS, and every man may keep all he produces, and trade it if he wants to. Well, since the free ride was over, everyone worked their butts off. The local tribes became friends, and gave various pointers for growing crops in the unforgiving rocky New England soil. Between establishing capitalism/free-trade, and building relations with the local tribes, the harvest that year was so bountiful that the governor invited the tribes to join in a festival and feast of celebration to consume the surplus produce. At the feast, he gave a toast in where he gave thanks to the local tribal leaders for helping them survive the winter, and that he was thankful the loss of life wasn't worse than it was, along with being thankful for such a bountiful harvest. That is what Thanksgiving was about. It was never about genocide or any of that post-modernist bullshit.

Native Americans are not native to America. They are native to Siberia and Mongolia. Also, stone age Europeans discovered America about 10,000 years before them. A stone age European axe made of French flint dating back to 19,000-26,000 years ago was discovered in Northeast United States in the last decade. Just google "stone age europeans first to north america" and there should be plenty of results a couple links from the top.

Your meals are pitiful - salted meat and a hard, dry biscuit. You, and people around you are sick because the room is rocking side to side. There's no fresh water and no change of clean clothes. In essence, you're trapped because land is thousands of miles away." It took two months to cross the Atlantic, and some passengers died during the journey in the small wooden ship. It was originally a merchant ship, designed to transport goods, not people. When they reached America's coast, they faced a lifetime of farming or other servitude. 51:47 I believe Crowder's words, his questions, suggestions, and really the whole conversation helped her to realize something about herself which she wasn't able to realize previously because it would have been too uncomfortable for her to admit to herself. It was still uncomfortable for her to admit because she immediately wanted to flee the whole situation, but I believe his conversation with her, and his encouragement to think about the subject matter on a critical level, helped her to admit something to herself, to have a moment of self-realization that although she might feel incredible uncomfortable with in that moment, and likely hated the fact he was able to have such an effect on her, over time she will hopefully come to appreciate that moment, and actually be grateful for Steven Crowder's help in becoming more self-aware. Perhaps it is just me, and I'm talking out of my ass . . . but that is what I think I saw.
