I've always thought this performance was bad... but when the big note came I closed my eyes and it sounded great. I think seeing her push hard for the note makes it sound strained! Saw her later in the tour and she sings still so great! :D

If you go back to Whitney’s 1997/98 vocals you can hear when she looses some control she sounds exactly the same as she does here. Whitney’s vocal chords where in perfect condition in her toxicology report when she died. Whitney’s voice didn’t go anywhere it was still there her lungs where what gave up on her voice, she could not push enough air through to make the clear sound she used too although her voice is in fact still very big here and she had excellent control of the range she could access. If she had got on the straight and narrow that she never did do and used the oxygen machine to aid her lung recovery her voice would have come back to sounding like the Whitney Houston we all recognise. That woman was as damn talented stood up on that stage on that day as she was 20 years before.

I love whitney but she has been very careful while singing this song :D I dont care if she has the hoarsest of the voices or whatever I have been keeping record of her performances and she stood tall during all of these. and she didnt care about it at all. and thats what i love about her and look at the emotions she sent down to her fans. the belief, the love. her every word and every gesture meant to me like she did this just to me. this is the reason i think fans all over the world love her

Klar war ihre Stimme nicht mehr dieselbe wie vor 10 Jahren und sie hat zuviele Drogen genommen die ihrer Stimme schadeten ( aber Mitschuld, und Gott weiss wer das ist, haben die wie ihr Ex und Medien/ Plattenfirma ) aber dennoch war sie eine ganz ganz große und der Auftritt hier war eigentlich ganz gut. Wir Menschen sind alle gut im Verurteilen und sehen oft nur das schlechte aber das jeder in so eine Situation kommen kann wird ausser Acht gelassen. Ich finde sie hat Respekt verdient. R.I.P
