Thanos Palette Swap 300% Concept

Күн бұрынA 300% strategy using the new Thanos mod by Tabs. In theory, the first attack/throw you get with this team should lead to a total, unblockable win!
Thanos' Level 3 is short range, but completely unblockable. So, on incoming, we can lock the opponent down with an assist, then force them to get hit by level 3!
I'm working on the 3rd episode of Ultimate Guide, but I am very busy, sorry to keep you waiting! I'll get it done, as soon as I can!

So it's basically the same concept as the X-23 300% but maybe easier. Makes sense.

And a little better, since I think you could do a frame perfect X-factor guard-cancel throw on x-23 to avoid the 300%. Good luck doing that in a real setting, considering x23 is invisible and all that.

If it didn't require a TAC to complete, thus giving your opponent an out, then it would be a true 300% concept.

True, but winning the TAC is in your favor. Instead of a 100% win, it’s more like 66%. You get the infinite whichever direction you choose, luckily.

There is no "real" 300% without a TAC, not that ive ever seen. I mean the only other one that i even know of is X-23 and they both need the TAC for meter.

@@THE_BASED_GOD firebrand, skrull, morrigan is one of them. There's spiderman teams as well.

@@massi4h yeah im a bit retarded but thise also arent fully inescapable setups. You can get out of firebrand ublockable with a well timed airdash and same with spiderman super resets. You cannot get out of x-23 dirt nap setups with a proper assist call no matter what you do.

Power of the Stones should cost a meter per stone, or have conditions to be met per stone like DBFZs dragon balls. Damn I've been watching so much MvC it makes me wanna play again.

This is awesome!!!!! I just think power is the stones should be a Level 5 Insta Kill or Level 5 Unblockable. Like a Dark Phoenix last resort type thing. The stones OP as is.

I want to put out at LEAST 1 or 2 more of the regular Ultimate Guide series before I get into specifics. Just want to talk about combo rules, and team structure before I get into more specific/advanced stuff. I do want to pre-write a few scripts for the character guides to make it easier down the road though, I just don’t know who to make a guide for first.

@@acey4626 I really appreciate the support, it means a ton! I’m not really a pro either, I just really like the game and want people to know how amazing it is haha. I’m glad to hear you love it, and that’s quite a fighting game background! I got into Marvel fairly late so a lot of what I’m doing now is trying to catch up to people who’ve been playing for like 10 years.

Capcom…re-release mvc3… somehow incorporate these pallets swaps and the thingy where every character is assigned a #….give us online that is base mvc3 and another online mode where you can play pallete swaps and another with the assigned character number # value mode….. Pay for whatever liscenses for cyclops or what every characters…and sit back and collect a pay day

Marvel 3 actually has two other unblockable moves, X-23’s Level 3 is air unblockable, and Firebrand’s fully charged swoop is unblockable too.

@@heefmvc x-23 level 3 is a grapple. Any grapple is grapple is unblockable just like haggard level 3. I didn't know about firebrand. I know there are actuall unblockables in the game (c viper focus attack, task master srk) but to have a lvl 3 attack be unblockable is over the top

@@AnhDonoi Pretty sure Silent Kill (X-23 lv 3) is an unblockable attack and not a grapple. Unlike a grapple, you can hit someone with it even when they are being locked down in an assist attack. This especially true in the air.

It’s just unblockable. The only weakness is that it’s very short range.

So we don't have a model importer yet. Any palette swap character with a "unique" model is really just a combination of parts from existing characters. Tabs decided that this would be the best way to make Thanos with existing assets.

@@trujiebeats7190 No worries! The UMVC3 community did commission a model importer, so it’s being made now and tests have happened, but it’s pretty tricky. Basically UMVC3 was made on a game engine that was made by Capcom itself, and that wasn’t even used much. So, it’s a lot tougher to mod than say, a game made on Unreal or something.
