The mad titan didn't pay up and tried to kill Lobo which sparked their conflict. I woke up before a winner was revealed. The battle was epic. Other characters were In the dream. Atrocitus superman the guardians of the galaxy nebula branic and ultron.

I think this would be the most awesome and funny comic book series ever. They would fight to a stand still and yes, Thanos would recruit Lobo. That would work until Lobo got bored and went off the reservation. They would eventually fight again and repeat the scenario. BUT it would never get old. In my opinion since Lobo and thanos are both very high intellectual beings, i would argue that his will to deliver is on par with thano’s will to the infinity gauntlet. But reluctantly humoring these fantasy idea makers, I would suggest that the one thing that could stop all of the villains that threaten and/or destroy planets, sun's (stars), and galaxies etc. ... is a being or Being that has the authority and "power" to un-create ... not destroy, but un-create anything or un-thing and anyone etc. To un-create is different from going or traveling back in time and preventing the birth of any of these monsters or villains that would be operating within a multiverse of dimensional realities. And the only purpose of un-creating those villains would be if the purpose for their existence is ended. And the only Being that could do this is the One that created all of existence in the first place. The method to un-create them is a non-method that is for this unknowable Being to stop thinking of them as existing or even to never having existed in the first place. This would be possible because all of existence regardless of dimensions etc. is the "dream" or "idea" (for lack of better words to come to mind) of the first Creator. And the first Creator is unknowable and is outside or beyond the beyond of existence, dimensions, and time etc. --THE END

Thanos wins, Lobos has been beat up by people in the justice league. He has been cut up, decapitated and mutilated multiple times by attacks that would bounce of Thanos. Thanos would literally disintegrate him on a molecular level. Also Lobo having genius intellect is not really consistent with his portrayal in the comics.

I remember reading about Lobo, from the beginning, to his latest incarnation. Lobo has been upgraded, many times, to make him this massive threat. Thanos built his powers through knowledge, science, and acquisition. Lobo isn't that cerebral, he just jumps into fights mostly and maybe thinks later. Thanos is a powerhouse and a thinker and always has layered plans, there's no comparison between the two. I would take Thanos over Lobo without so much as a thought.
