One thing sugar bowls can be used for is to keep sea salt in by your stove. I have a very old sugar bowl, with a lid, that I use and love it.

You don’t plug the fridge into power, so no need to buy a cord. What you thought was a cigarette lighter, is actually the plug - to push into the cigarette lighter port in your car to charge the internal battery. It is a cooler for beer or softdrink - (soda). They’re great for long drives or picnics.

I actually have a small fridge (kind of like the one you found) on my bedroom side table. I have a habit of drinking chocolate milk at night to settle my stomach and with my mini fridge I can keep a glass all night long and not make trip after trip to the kitchen. It is such a small thing but it has truly been a game changer for me...lol

They should be affordable for everyone. I stopped shopping for clothes from Good Will and other supposedly thrift stores, long time ago as its cheaper to buy brand new from the mall in my area. People should stop shopping sending emails and texts to the stores all over North America to lower their prices or we will boycott them.

My response is because Lamp Lady is not making millions off of FREE merchandise, im sure she makes a comfortable living, but the majority of people buying cant afford the real prices to either keep or re-sell so let them make a living as well.

The little fridge Igloo is a six pack cooler for the car. You have to chill it before plugging into the car and you need to chill your cans before placing in the Igloo. It keeps cold drinks cold while you are out.

The green glass angel was actually a Mary/Madonna made from a bottle. They are made in South America by women in poverty. It helps them support their families and it is a project of Catholic Relief Services. I have one and I LOVE it.

An easy way to tell Longaberger from other baskets is that they aren't "squishy". Start pushing on the sides of baskets and you will know what I mean!

Easiest way to tell a Longaberger basket is looking on the bottom. They are marked.

All Longaberger are marked on the bottom with a "brand" of their name and then the weaver initials it and dates it the day they complete it. There are a nber of knockoff copy cats.

Yes that Longaberger picnic style basket with an attached lid is a purse. I used to have that purse & loved it! I really liked that purse with the heart handles that you thought was Brighton & passed on. I'd totally use that purse.

The beaded seat covers are actually comfortable, especially for long trips. They distribute pressure evenly and allow air circulation so cooler in the summer. I use one on my motorcycle.

The Red Pyrex Fridgie cannot be brought back to life. It lodt its color due to heavy detergent in a dishwasher. You could oil it to make it appear better, but it will not be better.

After you picked up the Bundt pan and set it back down there was another cast cake pan on the bottom shelf. It had 2 pieces in the same pan. They are for making a cake that looks like a giant cupcake. The Wilton brand can bring some good prices. They originally sold for $20 - 30 dollars new.

Longaberger baskets do not do well in the Midwest for some reason. Goodwill ends up destroying tons of them that haven't been sold in the bins or auctions.

Wow. This is truly an excellent video with impeccable production standards. Also, your thrifting and re-selling skills are superb. I believe my favorite item is that old fashioned M&M phone - old fashioned push button phones being so much more colorful and attractive than smartphones. Concerning glass coloration : is it flashed, or is a dye or paint applied. Flashed is actual colored glass layered over and then fused (permanent) onto another glass body. If you see wear, or the color rubbing off it’s dye or paint. Some vintage coloration (probably pre-China) but American, was stained and heat fired for durability but wears if put through dishwashers etc. ( King’s Crown is a good example). Lots of dyed glass out there.

Those little coolers are the perfect thing for carrying home ice cream without having to worry about the ice cream melting. I have one called " "Lil Oscar," which I use to bring home chocolate sundaes from McDonald's. The problem is when I'm in the McDonald's lobby waiting for my order, I sometimes stand there and watch the ice cream melt while the employees are waiting on Uber and Grub Hub drivers or goofing off eating french fries as soon as they come out of the deep fryer. 😊😊

Lucky you finding the blow mold! Most Goodwills are selling the on the shop online website. I only found 1 Halloween blow mold this year back in September and only cause she was just putting in the showcase window! I used to find at least 4 - 5 every Halloween...I have that very same Blow Mold that I bought in 1975 for my new baby. I will never part with it because of sentimental reasons..

I was out all day here in NH looking for things to flip. I got a few things but I think you are right about PA having the best goodwill stores. Best buys were two Pier One Mugs, an Elephant and a Giraffe for 1.49 each. And a li bien paperweight that? As painted thru the bottom of the paperweight. It is in it's original box which tells how they are made.

Those were good prices on Longaberger. You have to be careful. Most people, in Ohio at least, price Longaberger like it was still in its heyday. Most don't sell nowadays for more than $30 retail. There are a few exceptions, but just a few. Keep an eye out for the foundry products: shelves and such. They tend to have higher value. Excellent score on the blow mold.

I believe the Mexican carved wood item with green tiles is sometimes used to serve bread. Old English is toxic. I wouldn't advise using that on anything used with food.

Hello my favorite thrifter! AlwYs enjoy your videos. Look forward to seeing them daily. You paid too much for the LB baskets. The green/red are Christmas. It’s heartbreaking as a former consultant/collector to see how their prices have dropped. The plastic are called protectors that’s a bonus to have!
