Don't forget that every single episode of this series will be almost identical, only the visitor and the gift will vary.

I used to love 'Discovery' and 'History' Channels, but I went off it because of the huge amount of adverts, and the fact that each documentary treats you as if you are so brain dead that you can't remember what the program was about, and so feels the need to repetitively remind you, time and time again. I never watch TV these days.

Yes but.. the repetition is really just to DUMB US DOWN. It's like how we become too reliant on autocorrect, and forget out to spell. These shows are teaching us we no longer need to think.

Funny and accurate, but it needs a cymbal-hiss for every dramatic transition just like many shows of this nature use.

The thing with buying a gift for your ant is that gifts are often worryingly too large for ants to properly appreciate ( a worrying oversight in the gifts and goods market). Often you'll find that, despite Ants being able to lift 20 times their own body weight, most gifts are above and beyond the manageable weight for the average Ant. In this clip, we see the amateur mistake of someone ordering a woolen dog ornament for their Ant, which said Ant could neither transport nor consume.

So many shows do this. You get the actual action with dialogue, then you get someone who tells you what you just watched and what they just said. Then he tells you whats coming up next, then that happens, then he tells you what just happened. Madness!

This reminds me a bit of Come Dine With Me. If you record it and fast forward the moment Dave says "coming up" and keep fast forwarding until you see the sponsors come back at the end of the adverts you can watch a half and hour show in 19 minutes and not miss a thing.

This is why I hate those US fly-on-the-wall shows like Duck Dynasty, Lizard Lick Towing, Dog the Mountie Hunter (it's a Canadian spinoff) and so on and so on, it's bad enough that they are largely scripted, but the narrator has to spell out the very obvious goings on.
