I would honestly prefer that. Some harsh criticism is something we all need from time to time.
@ethanstump2 жыл бұрын
No, we need criticism, not negativity. We have plenty of that, not only in spades, but in Jack's and clubs as well. Our effiency would increase with some positive criticism, however so many people are looking for a chance to get even, that their criticism suffers as a result, and it gets turned into a wild goose chase of blame the victim. We need to do better than this, and that only happens when we start not only to say that we deserve better, not only when we need to act better, but that it's possible to think better, not only of others, but of ourselves as well. This negativity is a naive way to think, and ignorant of our capacities and potential. Fuckk the government and private sector however.

Did you not watch the video? Hes telling the guy that he shouldn't be so confident when he clearly has no comprehension of the traditions of courteous conduct associated with being a suited gentleman. The man is instantly disrespecting the suit shop with the impropriety of his behaviour and dress. It is (rather exaggeratedly) saying that the man should have considered the traditions and rituals associated with the society which he wishes to dress for before entering. He is not displaying elegance, self-effacement, formality or courtesy - yet he wishes to dress as those who would protect and encourage these meritable virtues. In short he's a "Slack-jawed spiv" - as mitchell calls him. HOWEVER, Mitchell does then TELL HIM that he WANTS TO HELP HIM. He wants to help him to be the thing he is going to dress up as, instead of simply putting him in a suit and letting him continue being an uncultured and callous turd. The only way he feels this can be achieved is by smashing the man's ego to pieces and building him back up as a gentleman.
@LionionKR8 жыл бұрын
He merely commented on the comparison of the recurring theme of American and British comedies. He's not wrong, and I'm pretty sure he watched the video to leave a comment inherently about British comedy, on a video which is taken from British comedy.
