The Wedding was a really emotional yet intense mission. I wanted Dogeyes and Ratface dead from there on out. I'd argue that Sleeping Dogs has the best villains in any open-world game besides GTA IV.

Im so happy you're playing one of my favourite open world games. This game is text book definition of underrated . This game deserved more attention. How cool would it be if got the triads from sleeping dogs, mafia from the mafia 1 remake and ballas from gta sa in a saints row game. Would've been dope

5:10 small correction. The gang you're in is called the Sun On Yee, and being a "red pole" essentially means you're a captain in the organization, its a rank. This is what Wei meant by him "being winston now". He's essentially captain of Winston's "set" inside the Sun On Yee. I think the Sun On Yee members that follow Winston's orders are called the "Water street boys"

It's a good mission, but you barely know Peggy. You have no attachment to her. Literally the mission before is when you first meet her. Winston's death sucked, because you watch as Wei earns his trust and eventually friendship to the point where Winston is willing to die to protect Wei. It's pretty cool. It's a great mission, but IMO it's not even the best mission in Sleeping Dogs. That would be either Meet The New Boss. Or Payback IMO. Those two are the better missions. The best mission in any game is hard to say tbh there are so many. The first thing that comes to my mind is the gauntlet at the end of Chapter 1 of Yakuza 0. The whole fighting 50 guys, then the fight with Kuze is so good. Either that or the 100 man fight in Yakuza 5. Taking on an impossible number of people hand to hand is so hype.

This mission in sleeping dog made me so sad I felt like Winston was an invincible older brother so when Peggy and Winston died I genuinely wanted to destroy everyone involved

The emotional rollercoaster of this game makes me love it so much I get so invested. I remember preordering it in 2012 because I loved the cover art and loved gta. It was an emotional time for me as my parents had just gotten divorced and I moved away from home. This game is very close to me and I’m glad others see it the way I do. I remember going after all the collectibles and exploring the beautiful map.

Sleeping Dogs is one of the most underrated games, shame it never got a sequel because I'd have it on par with SR2, GTA SA and Both RD games. It's a real masterpiece.

I believe they took inspiration from the exact mission you showed where Roman's wedding gets crashed by either Peggorino or Dimitri.

It has be FARCRY3 for me, Vaas as at beginning of game. The first mission in game so rememberable.

The Wedding was a heartbreaking mission to play through, and it's one of the reasons why I love Sleeping Dogs. It's one of my favorite open world games or games period outside of Saints Row 2.

I respect your decision, but for me it's the suicide mission in mass effect 2. Either that or ME3 and the conclusion of Mordin Solaris's story arc. I cried over that shit dawg.

Shame we're never gonna get a sequel, this game reminded me of saints row 2 in a way, for example gta 4 was ass and I had sr2 and then sr3 was trash then we had sleeping dogs. Such a shame this didn't become a franchise

I played so many hours of this game back on 2012, on my old PS3. I even bought the definitive edition on newer gens. It did something new and revolutionary that any other game haven’t done until that point. Making weapons something rare made it realistic as hell, depending on martial arts as a weapon was amazing and realistic

The wedding mission was one of my absolute favorites as well. I loved playing that mission. I didn't much care for the story of Sleeping Dogs I mostly cared for the combat and everything else. Back when I played it I used to skip cut things cuz I just wanted to get the game played. I'll probably replay it soon. That way I can understand just how magnificent it is but on a gameplay aspect the wedding mission is probably the best in the game

I wish I could play the game but unfortunately it causes my graphics card to overheat despite running perfectly and apparently it's a common problem with the game, well maybe not common but I saw at least 9 people online complaining about it and all of them were told to just get a new graphics card.

"wouldn't of"? For crying out loud! By the way, this is one of the worst missions in this masterpiece of a game. It's a properly emotional moment plot-wise, but it's such a tough mission that goes on for far too long and it even features an escort segment with a health metre.
